The story follows a group of high school girls who are in the 'Going-Home Club'. Instead of doing regular club activities, the 'Going-Home Club' is dedicated to having as much fun as possible, by doing such things as playing video games or even simply feeding pigeons in the park.

15 episodes

The Going Home Club goal is to find out how much fun they can have after school. Despite the question of the club being recognized by the school, the girls are busy with their utterly off-topic discussions, today.

The Going Home Club tries to compose a poem that describes themselves. Karin brings cookies and tells the club about Home Ec Club. The group plays the role of both boys and girls and practice for if they ever go to a social mixer.

Botan has incredible powers of strength, but she claims her strength is mental, not physical. Botan doesn't use her powers in daily life, so she doesn't know what to do with them. Karin admires Botan and Claire finds Karin to be just too cute.

Sakura and Botan's class face Claire's class in a softball match. The club discusses a fire evacuation drill from yesterday. Botan states the reason for her training is in case they ever need to retool the show into a fighting show.

Botan believes the 'Demon King,' from Schubert's song, lacks the qualities of the real thing. Sakura talks about other good stories in their text book and other works of literature.

The girls are playing video games when Sakura suggests they play a game that doesn't require electricity. A masked figure appears on the TV and announces that they will play 'Judgement Game.'

Natsuki and Sakura decide to play Word Chain. The Word Chain battle escalates from a pastime to a fierce competition. The girls plan a Surprise Party for Natsuki's birthday.

The club finds out Natsuki has a younger brother. The girls pester Natsuki with questions about him. The Going Home Club writes poems to be sold on the street. The club members visit Natsuki to meet her younger brother.

The girls go to a training camp for their summer vacation. The girls spend the night at an inn. The Going Home Club visits the pool and ponder how 'free' freestyle swimming actually is.

The club heads to their sworn enemy's dojo, Hagishirabe-ryuu, for training. The girls play 'Telling of One-Hundred Tales' which involves extinguishing a candle for each ghost story. Sakura wants the club to join the relay at the Athletics Festival.

It is her first day of high school, and Sakura is looking forward to a fun time. Sakura wants the girls to think about the final episode - what they 'should do,' and what do they 'want to do.' What kind of 'final episode' does each girl want to see?
