The whole “second chance” thing is really winding me up. Douchebag Robbie ‘deserved’ one according to Amanda. All the new Miyagi-do arrivals are getting one. Danielson himself got one from Mr Miyagi. But let’s skip over the fact that Miguel made one mistake and since then goody two shoes Samantha has wanted nothing to do with him! Also she’s quick to try and lips Robbie who she’s knows is Johnny’s son but wouldn’t even introduce her then boyfriend to her Dad as he was Cobra Kai. Hypocrisy is riff with these lame writers.
Johnny sure loved his boys. Kreese is corrupting all these kids. Fuck.
Love seeing the entire 1983 Cobra Kai crew all back again. Excellent episode!
Isn’t ironic that he’s teaching his students to forgive others and people can change and not everyone from cobra Kai is bad. But yet he can’t move past Johnny. Even tho at the end of karate kid 1 Johnny congratulated him on his win by handing the trophy. And he Danny watched as Kreese was beating on him. But still Johnny is the bad guy who can never change. I think Miyagi would be disappointed with Danny if he could see what kind of man he became

That backstory on Johnny was awesome! Lerarning about Daniel's dark Cobra Kai past was also interesting.

"Strike first, strike hard, no mercy, sir." - That quote stuck with me and I loved it (in that context). Unfortunately it wasn't that fun when watching it for the second time but I was likely just expecting too much.
