I hope they have killed of Kirkman's wife. She was fucking annoying.
What BS. Kill British agent, go for a drink and cry! British agent has bulletproof and survives.
Incredible. This show defies all logic and improves from one episode to another. They certainly aren't afraid to take risks that's obvious to see. Superb writing, haunting music to close the episode. I think this is his best role since 24. Amazing.
That ending absolutely broke me... wow. love this show so much.
I'm sorry, I can't bring myself to give a shit for her death, really. Maybe this could've happened before all the prosecution bullshit? This is just a politics show really, I don't know why I'm still watching this
Well, that's a terrible generic 'Southern' accent, just another mediocre nail in the coffin of s2
Well, this episode was the straw that broke the camel's back.
The series started well. The plot was very interesting and promised a different show, but this second season really is nothing special, and with what happens at the end of this episode... Did they run out of ideas?
It was good while it lasted.
No more Designated Survivor for me!
Omg the Death of Frist Lady shocked so hard :(
didn't expect the first lady's death
I enjoy the pace of this show, but this episode was either poorly written, or poorly directed. We have so many leaps, I feel like they made a longer episode and made random cuts for time. There are the points other commenters brought up. There's also the issue with the baby and how the mother caved so fast and how Forestal gave up after his Senate bid was exposed, which was not a secret. Never mind how quickly Wells distrusted Damien when at the same time we see Kirkman standing by his wife. Not that I ever liked him anyway. #TeamChuck. Also, I think the firefighters stayed way too long to clear out the cult. I could probably have gotten more if I'd taken notes. And why couldn't the carolers get an audience with the President? He's been under more fire than this.
That scene at the end mostly redeemed this episode. I'd say it's worth two whole points of my score. We're getting a range from Kiefer Sutherland we never got from 24. I like this role a little more. He's just as smart, but he's a lot more human, and I predict we're going to see a lot of that in the next couple episodes.
The scene when The President knows what happened was amazing, good acting.
mid season finale. With a cliffhanger?
So, the guy falls into the water after Hannah shot him and nobody even bothers to look for the body ? Dear writers, please stay with the light politics stuff because you suck at everything else.
And before someone yells at me, yes I know a lot of the things, like that crash at the end, are improbable to unlikely to be happen, but as far as I am concerned it`s good drama. I can't explain why I like this show, I just do.

Things had already reached the point where I was watching this show for the Hannah stuff while fast-forwarding through everything else, so of course they had to go and ruin that with a couple of big bits of stupid. First, she meets with her shady British boy toy alone when neither she nor anyone else should have allowed it, and then, after shooting him, she just goes off to have a drink or ten. So much for contacting the appropriate people and finding the body and confirming the death, or anything like that. And then, of course, we get the requisite scene of the boy toy showing us, the audience, that he had been wearing a bulletproof vest. Because that trope never gets old. Beyond that, it's sad to see that a show that began as an investigation into something as monumentally huge as the bombing of the U.S. Capitol Building in an attempt to destroy the American government has degenerated into lame and boring story lines like this one that involved a small group of people in a fire zone. Seriously? This is the sort of nail-biting successor to that initial story line that's supposed to keep people watching? And lastly, we get one more overused trope: the T-boned vehicle crash. Not only is it unoriginal, but it's also an impossibility in the context of the Secret Service protecting the First Lady. Those side streets would have been shut down during the drive. Oh, well. I'm done. As I said, I was in it for Hannah and now they've finished ruining her for me, so it's a good time to bail on this mess.
