I enjoy the pace of this show, but this episode was either poorly written, or poorly directed. We have so many leaps, I feel like they made a longer episode and made random cuts for time. There are the points other commenters brought up. There's also the issue with the baby and how the mother caved so fast and how Forestal gave up after his Senate bid was exposed, which was not a secret. Never mind how quickly Wells distrusted Damien when at the same time we see Kirkman standing by his wife. Not that I ever liked him anyway. #TeamChuck. Also, I think the firefighters stayed way too long to clear out the cult. I could probably have gotten more if I'd taken notes. And why couldn't the carolers get an audience with the President? He's been under more fire than this.

That scene at the end mostly redeemed this episode. I'd say it's worth two whole points of my score. We're getting a range from Kiefer Sutherland we never got from 24. I like this role a little more. He's just as smart, but he's a lot more human, and I predict we're going to see a lot of that in the next couple episodes.
