The second half was especially great. That puppet show; the bobble head that was an exact replica of its owner; the way the Paraguay/Fuchtopia meta-chamber place felt like an out of business spa; the pacing of the 3 pivoting storylines of Larry, Jane, and Cliff; the choice of actor for the dinosaur/plant guy; (who is apparently a famous villain from the comics) even Jane calling out Von Fuchs iron lung and comical brain chord as "janky." All so on point.

What a great episode.

That last track (Robert LaSalle - Home, Pt. 2) was so beautiful.

The episodes are getting better by the week.

Jane and Robotman are most definitely the stand out characters.

I think Cyborgs dad was the one who might've killed his mom - something feels off about him.

I don't know who this kid is that plays Cyborg, but he cannot act. Every inflection is forced. Trying way to hard

The episodes get better as they go along. Jane's character and her many facets is one of my favorite characters.

I don't know why I feel that Cyborgs' father was the one who could have killed his own wife, something feels wrong with him.

No Mr. Nobody, no witty narration, very little of Robotman's cheeky comebacks ... The back story bit was solid and emotional, but apart from that, most stuff in this episode felt a bit restrained, diluted, as compared to the previous two (except for that bloodbath scene, or course). Still good but, by comparison, this was the weakest episode of the season, for me, so far.

I feel like Strumbanhfuhrer Von Fuchs was beaten way too easily. Mr. Nobody may be the main villain but he wouldn't be the way he is if it weren't for the doctor, so there's no way he'd be finished off just like that.

Such a weird show but definitely entertaining. Feels more like a dark version of the Teen Titans cartoon. Than Titans does, even.

this show isn't ashamed to embrace weirdness and i can tell the writers actually read and love comics. in general, not necessarily the doom patrol ones

Diane Guerrero continues being the star of the show. Who would have thought her good acting in Orange Is the New Black could be elevated so much further?

So Michael so evil he had to earn hero team on this show and supernatural?

I'm only three deep into the first 15 episodes of this series but I've been unexpectedly surprised. I was concerned that this would be the most unrelatable of the DC Universe, with two of the characters being barely recognizable as human and the whole bunch being not only social outcasts but intentionally hermited from others. Instead, I found the episodes filled with human stories and the characters rife with emotional depth. I chalk this up to good writing and fine performances. I'm giving this series a 7 (good with great potential) and I'm looking forward to future episodes. [Socially Disadvantaged Superheroes]
