I just love it, don't care what others think
They could have done a better job on Cyborg. In certain scenes that eye looks like it was made by Fisher price.
Robotman is fucking hilarious!
Jane wasn't too bad. I though the scene with her cuss words coming to life and turning into weapons was cool as fuck.
That narrator is absolutely sublime! His monologue during the first few minutes of this episode was terrific! The way he breaks the fourth wall (particularly when Niles asks him who is he talking to) makes him a hilarious and essential asset of this show. Robotman and Mr. Nobody sure keep the laughs coming, they both contribute a lot to what's been a very entertaining and fun show. Whether you like him or not, the truth is that Brendan Fraser has been killing it as Robotman!
As someone who's not familiar with the characters (I only know them from that Titans episode) I really want to see more of Mr. Nobody, he seems to be a very charismatic and intriguing villain. He's too great of a character to be absent most of the time.
I don't understand why we're having Cyborg in this show, but not in Titans, where he should have been. I'm not complaining, I'm just genuinely curious about that.
It was a bummer after the first season of Titans ended (because that show is so good), so I'm glad DC now gave us Doom Patrol for our amusement, and it's been just as good as Titans (with the added bonus of being quite funny).
I can’t help myself, I’m already a fan. The growing friendship between Robotman and Jane is interesting.
This keeps getting better and better. It´s just the second episode but i can say this is one of the best superhero shows. Keeping the same quality as the first episode is hard but this one does it
Since the donkey spit out Jane just like it did with Larry, Rita, and Victor, it would make sense that the same thing happened in Mr. Nobody's universe to Jane too. I can hardly imagine how rough it was for her.
I thoroughly enjoyed this episode, I laughed quite a bit! Glad to see Cyborg in something, but I agree with some others, 1. I think that they could do a better job on his looks. 2. I would have thought that it would have been in Titans that he showed up in. I don't remember anything about Cyborg but I know that I used to really like him when I was younger and reading some of my dad's old Cyborg comics, and I'm not that young. I would love to find those old comics again, I hope he still has them somewhere.
So... is this going to be a group therapy for fallen stars and former hotshots, where Alan Tudyk, as an omnipotent narrator and main villain will shatter the fourth wall - and the heroes - to pieces, like a Stanley Parable-like narrator, just even more alive, and literally existing? Man, I know Legends of Tomorrow is good, because they realized, it works only if it doesn't take itself seriously, so they just go along with it, and I really like that ((can't wait for the april 1st second half of season 4)), but this, this show is a whole new level. I don't want to belittle LoT, but this is actually some serious quality sh*t.
Dialed back the "take a look at me now, I'm the new anti-cool coolness", just a skosh, which made this episode much more interesting and watchable. Didn't keep getting pulled out of the story by the overwrought narrative, which allowed one to focus on the multiple quasi-origin story flash back, flash mid, flash mind games, being played by Mr. Nobody.
Hmm, it seems Donkey's are like onions, layered, smelly and gassy....., wait, wrong movie,..., well, but it IS applicable.., soooo, THIS donkey is dorky, yes, literally a door with a keyhole in it's grass hole. You just KNOW, that somewhere out there on the interwebs, some poor schlub was getting a chubby when Rita was talking about them putting her in a Hefty Bag, cutting a hole and squeezing her down the tan-less equines gullet. Oooh,.. Elastigirl gots moves.....
It will be interesting to see if EACH of Jane's personalities has it's own origin story, seeing as each one has it's own power. I mean, last time a females words "cut me like a knife", just my feelings got hurt, and no blood was drawn. With Jane on the other hand, "You've been cut by..., a smooooth psychopath... (Caulder are you OK, are you OK, are you OK, Caulder??)
Can't tell if Cliff is crushing on Jayne, or if she just reminds him of his daughter...., or a little of both,...., which would be disturbing. They need to clear that up quick.
Dr Stone is the ultimate stage Father, living the dream / paying penance through his son, hoping he (they) gets a shot at the big "LEAGUE".
So far, I'm still on board, Hope they don't screw it up.
Whatever the authors of this show have been smoking, I want that too!
That dude has a bad case of Deadpool face!
Robot man has been the highlight of the show for me. I'm not sure how I feel about the whole donkey thing.
Crazy Jane is exhausting when she gets going. I glad I don't have to put up with it more than a few minutes a week.
HOLY SHIT!
THIS SHOW IS SUPER AWESOME!!!
doom patrol seems to know how to balance its depressing stories with the comedy bits, the nonsense of it all. the special effects are goofy sometimes but i think it fits the vibe of the show idk
Loving the show but massively disappointed in Cyborg. He’s not even close to the cinematic universe.
Liking the addition of Cyborg and can't go wrong with a little Alan Tudyk narration.
Not too crazy about this rendition of Victor's back story, I'm a bit of a purist. I did find it funny Cliff running around sounding like Shrek though. Overall I'm on the fence about the show. Hopefully the next episode with establish the series' pace.

Since this episode follows directly from episode one, I couldn't wait to see it, and it was glorious. I got some distinct Dirk Gently (sniff) /Legion vibes and the antagonist is sublimely ridiculous (but not to be ridiculed). If anything, the encounter was a bit short, but it left me wanting more. Thank you for not ruining a fond childhood memory.
