Dialed back the "take a look at me now, I'm the new anti-cool coolness", just a skosh, which made this episode much more interesting and watchable. Didn't keep getting pulled out of the story by the overwrought narrative, which allowed one to focus on the multiple quasi-origin story flash back, flash mid, flash mind games, being played by Mr. Nobody.

Hmm, it seems Donkey's are like onions, layered, smelly and gassy....., wait, wrong movie,..., well, but it IS applicable.., soooo, THIS donkey is dorky, yes, literally a door with a keyhole in it's grass hole. You just KNOW, that somewhere out there on the interwebs, some poor schlub was getting a chubby when Rita was talking about them putting her in a Hefty Bag, cutting a hole and squeezing her down the tan-less equines gullet. Oooh,.. Elastigirl gots moves.....

It will be interesting to see if EACH of Jane's personalities has it's own origin story, seeing as each one has it's own power. I mean, last time a females words "cut me like a knife", just my feelings got hurt, and no blood was drawn. With Jane on the other hand, "You've been cut by..., a smooooth psychopath... (Caulder are you OK, are you OK, are you OK, Caulder??)

Can't tell if Cliff is crushing on Jayne, or if she just reminds him of his daughter...., or a little of both,...., which would be disturbing. They need to clear that up quick.

Dr Stone is the ultimate stage Father, living the dream / paying penance through his son, hoping he (they) gets a shot at the big "LEAGUE".

So far, I'm still on board, Hope they don't screw it up.

@paladin5150 I keep telling you, you're biased cuz you're against overwrought narrations. I, on the other hand, often find it refreshing, and thought the pilot was better than this episode.

Cliff-imo he likes her, but has some paternalistic displacement in there too.
