I think Edith should adopt Marigold fully, therefore be her mother and no one would question her marriage status. Also, I think Robert should know that Marigold is his granddaughter, maybe not today but later. It's funny how Robert is so emotional towards a dog but is hesitant whether his daughter should take in an "orphan" girl she cares for. This show is making poor Isis death so dramatic, I don't know if some human deaths got the same treatment. How long has it been since Rose first met Atticus? It seems like it's been 2 months and they are moving quite too quickly. I loved that Violet Crawley was openly sad about being left without a friend, really. And it's very sad that Merton's sons were so rude towards Isobel :(
