Easily the worst episode of the season, perhaps the worst episode of the entire show. Maybe the strong start to the finale season is starting to wane but this was a complete throwaway episode. Sure, it tried to delve into the psyche of Frasier/Niles/Daphne but the means and the outcome were meh. I like John Mahoney a lot but the whole song and dance number at the end was very poor.
It’s nice to see the regular gang in fantasy scenes for a change - the dream storyline even allows us to see Martin crooning and dancing like his hero Frank. Just surprised there wasn’t a “scooby-doobyl sneaked in there.
