I'm on my 3rd watch of Gentleman Jack and the first two times I saw this episode I was in a much better place romantically and emotionally. I wasn't expecting Anne's breakdown towards the end of the episode to hit me so hard.
It's a difficult one as we deal with Miss Walker's mental turmoil and she doesn't mean to hurt Anne in the process. Bless them both.

I cried the entire episode. I just want them to be happy together, is that too much to ask?

living where I live with a society that seems very similar to what I'm watching, I feel like I'm seeing myself in Ann Walker , same emotions and fear, between want I want/need and the people I love most and my country rules. witch is Impossible for me in this life , maybe in another.

Ann is really exhausting, this was hard to watch.

Oh, one breakup scene isn't enough? Fine, have one more! This time with Ann rejecting Anne while she's kneeling in front of her and holding the ring!

I don't know who to feel more bad about or if I even should. Ann is losing it and it's somewhat hard to watch, sure, but you can hardly imagine how worse it is for Anne since she's there in person.

I’m afraid Miss Walker is simply too weak willed to be a partner for Miss Lister. Her breakdowns are painful to watch and I’d be surprised if a cure is ever found or if Miss Lister will run out of patience.

This was a good episode. There was a lot going on but it definitely helped to move the story forward and I feel so genuinely bad for Ann Walker. Imagine people who are supposed to love you telling you you are going to hell.
