sorry but the sowden's family drama is far more interesting, walker's naivety and low confidence is well expected since it was mentioned and shown before so it was kind off uncomfortable seeing eager, well informed, strong willed, 12 years older ann lister to be all up in walker's business, although it is with good intentions it just seems rushed and manipulating as I've said before it wasnt informed the time or days it's been
Poor Ann. I understand her behaviour can be frustrating to the audience, but it's understandable that she would act like she does when she has been psychologically abused and manipulated by her family all her life. You can have your own strong opinions, but when everyone tells you otherwise, it's difficult for someone with low self esteem to stand up for themselves.
My favorite part was when Mary Sowden found out where her husband had gone. And her face was finally happy, not actually smiling, but she signaled her son that she was pleased.
The ending was surprising. I'm undecided on whether the man was sent by Christopher Rawson. I'm inclined to believe he was, but it'll be better to wait and find out. Not only that, the man advised/threatened Anne to stay away from "Miss Walker". Why would he say that if he was sent by Christopher?
For f.... Sake! The last couple of minutes made me so freaking angry! I wanted to slap Ann and kill that fxxxx who attacked Anne! Jesus! I would gladly take you as your wife, Miss Lister

it absolutely pisses me off how naive and insecure ann walker is. i mean i understand the way she thinks, but god damn, she has no sense of individuality and gets swayed by the smallest thing. anne lister is a champ for actually putting up with that, cause i would walk out of that exhausting relationship instantly
