A noticeable lack of 4th wall breaks this episode (until the last moment). I think that shows the 'game' is over and that Anne's feelings are all in. Some powerful scenes watching her struggle with her usual resolve, especially when Ann was so upset at the end. Their relationship is wonderfully portrayed. Truly beautiful.
I... genuinely want anne to get thomas to wreck this mr ainsworth. he seems like a real piece of shit, and i cant wait for him to show up cuz that'll be a real shitshow.
Oh so now we’re on the way to the trope of “the player falls in love with the plaything”. Still toxic but I still don’t hate it. I wonder whether anyone will ever find out about the pigs. Ouff. Hope not, I really enjoyed that. :upside_down:
