I wish they'd renewed Kevin Probably Saves the World instead of starting this one. That show held more promise for me. There was an angel and several mysteries. This is more millennial. It takes no risks, is elementally procedural, and without the charm of Jason Ritter (and his co-star, Privileged alum Amy Cabrera) there's not as much draw.

They sort of telegraphed the uncle's issues so it was no surprise.

I liked the relationship and ups and downs with Miles and his family.

I felt Cara’s family drama was predictable and tiresome. She’s forgiven her mother after the woman only made ONE attempt to be in her life...and she gets upset with her father who was taking care of her her whole life. Felt childish.

Also, I hope Michael Vartan appears more on the show. He’s such a good actor I felt like he was wasted in this episode.

I liked Raj reconnecting with his friend. Hopefully the show doesn’t do cliche and turn them into a couple.

Also...no real job would let people skip out of work that often in the middle of their shifts without being disciplined. And Cara spends all her time researching the God account it would be impossible to do proper research for her columns.

It’s starting to feel even more unrealistic. Entertaining still? Yes

Well, for once Miles contributed with absolutely nothing after a friend suggestion from God, the whole situation was resolved on its own. Also, not much advanced in terms of finding out who's behind the God account, just more speculation.
Weakest episode, so far. If there ever was a filler episode this season, this was it.
