So many tears in this episode...I'm so happy for Amelia I was worried for her ..nice to see all the flashbacks too
Felt like a finale to the whole show. Loved the flashbacks. All those baby faced characters made me emotional. They've absolutely gutted the cast though. Some will not be missed (please don't come back Owen and Teddy) and the residents??
After so many years of this show though it's good to have a shock to the system. The programmer auditor made a good point about the family lines breaking authority.
Also damn I'm on board for Kai and Amelia. Love wins! And hey as a potential step parent to a kid that'll be with the other bio parent a lot too? That's like the least amount of responsibility possible with kids in your life? Lol. Do it!
P.s. Loved the cover versions of those key Grey's songs
400, man time is been flying by.
So, Jackson's blackmailing Meredith into reviving the resident programme... why? I mean she's the main reason why the license got pulled because of her stunt with that failed surgery. And I doubt we've seen the last of Bailey and Webber. Honestly, I'm sick of Meredith, she's full of herself, she made the wrong decision here, and isn't capable of admitting it. Instead we get treated to flashbacks... where I didn't even understand why Derek suddenly featured there. Nicky just leaving without a word shows that he isn't Mr Right in my opinion.
I hope Hunt (and Teddy) get lost... sorry, but he should have been killed off in that accident.
Maggie and Winston, and Link... please, could someone explain to me why during a shortage of blood, a dying man gets linked up to an ECMO-machine which requires giving him continuous blood products? Just that he can see his son? I'm sorry, but the wife was 36 weeks along... perfectly safe for a C-section. Instead they add some drama with the abruption (and her needing his blood - which, again, no question who should get the blood, no need for some kind of heroic speeches by dying guy who somehow was the only rational one in there despite him being the one on his deathbed).
All those will they/won't they/reconciliations... don't care.
Overall this felt like a series finale - maybe finally putting this show to rest would be a good thing.
That "Hello Forever" from Simon to the baby made me lose it. I BAWLED. How sweet and sad.
Omg, i was so happy at the beginning thinking Catherine is dead x.x I hate them for making me hope.
Well this season was a mess. They seemed to have butchered every single character except for Amelia.
-The relationship between Link and Jo seems to be on the mend but now there is always this potential something hanging over them.
-Amelia and Kay, great love it!
-Owen and Teddy... I can't even begin to rant about that. Their story is annoying at best at this point.
-Bailey... Don't get me started. She is perhaps the biggest failure of this season. They slaughtered her character and ruined all the relationships she had within the span of one single season.
-Maggie and Winston don't do anything for me. It's a complete snooze watching them.
-Nick, love him... keep him!
And finally let me just say that seeing Jackson and April makes me miss the good old days. I'm glad some things can be fixed.
Best to let the show go. Especially since I'm watching this later than the original air date and the news came that Ellen Pompeo is leaving. What is Grey's Anatomy without a Grey?
This would have been a perfect end to the series. Instead it's being dragged out for another 2 seasons at least... US shows never know how to go out on a high.
Wow. Forgot all about Jackson.
Was that the finalé? Is it over now? Felt like a finalé... is it time to applaud?

Couldn't help but yell "NOOO! DON'T WALK OUT" when Nick left. Then her running and calling after him? Asdfggkjgh my heart can't handle this. I was hanging on to every last second of the episode for him to be back. Sigh! I just know he'll be there waiting for her. I JUST KNOW IT.
I'm not sure if this was a series finale or what, but definitely felt like it. To be quite honest, I would not mind another season at all. As long as it's of the same quality as this episode. It was one of the best in a really long time.
