When Heathcliff is finally able to tell Sonja he has lost ten pounds, she admits he'll love him at any weight, so our hero instantly returns to his former gluttonous ways.

Heathcliff suffers a nasty bang on the head, which renders the "Devil Cat" side of his personality stunned and permits the "Angel Cat" side to take over. Suddenly Heathcliff is good as gold and begins performing numerous acts of kindness toward Spike. Spike is confused, but certainly willing to take advantage of the situation. He even puts on a show for the other animals to demonstrate his new ability to make Heathcliff do his bidding. However, when the "Devil Cat" recovers, Heathcliff puts Spike back in his place posthaste.

Dooley the dogcatcher has been replaced by a robot called the super Mechanical Animal Catcher (M.A.C.). It starts catching all animals in town. Heathcliff destroys the M.A.C. menace and reprograms it to set all the animals free.

Hector, Wordsworth and Mungo decide to teach Heathcliff a lesson after a typical day of being picked on. That night when Heathcliff is fast asleep, the cats sneak into his house, and with Hector dressed like a ghost, frighten Heathcliff into promising to be nice to his friends. After a few days of being good, Heathcliff finally catches on and puts his sneaky friends back in their place.

Heathcliff breaks into prison to save his father just as his father is released. Heathcliff is locked up and begins terrorizing the entire prison, while Pop moves in with the Nutmegs and begins terrorizing the neighborhood. In the end, a trade is made, and both cats return to their rightful places.

Heathcliff and the Nutmegs go to an air show where Iggy wins a raffle for a ride in a supersonic jet. Heathcliff pushes a button which ejects the pilot and then brings the jet in for a spectacular landing by himself.

It's Heathcliff's birthday, and he's a very happy cat. That is, until he realizes all his friends have forgotten! Everywhere he goes, cats and people blithely tell him they're busy, and send him away. Angry and hurt, Heathcliff decides to run away. When he goes into the Nutmeg home to get his things, everyone is there yelling, "SURPRISE!"

When the Catfather and his mob move into the neighborhood, a naive Heathcliff accepts his offer to work for him, and unsuspectingly collects "gifts" from all the frightened animals in town. When he discovers from Sonja who he is really working for, Heathcliff, needless to say, takes care of things properly.

Grandpa, Iggy and Heathcliff find themselves in the path of a group of people on horseback. It's a fox hunt, and both Iggy and Heathcliff are very sympathetic to the fox. Heathcliff teaches the frightened creature several tricks to foil the hunt, and saves the little guy's life.

Iggy and Heathcliff are watching TV and see on the news that a prisoner escaped who looks just like Grandpa. When Grandpa comes home, they think it's him and try to hide him. The real prisoner shows up and Heathcliff and Iggy have to figure out which one is the real Grandpa.

Heathcliff, eating the Nutmeg's out of house and home, is sent out to earn his own tuna money. He lands a job on a tuna boat where he tangles with the bad dog from a nearby pirate trawler who has just stolen their entire catch.

Marcy dresses Heathcliff in baby clothes and is pushing him down the street, when two crooks disguised as mother and child rob a jewellery store. The police confuse the duos and throw Heathcliff in jail! Undaunted, our courageous cat escapes his cell, apprehends the true offenders, and surfaces a hero.

Spike's mother is coming to visit, so he pleads with Heathcliff to let it appear that he runs things around the neighborhood. Spike says he'd be a disgrace to his family if they knew he was second to a cat. Heathcliff refuses on the grounds that he doesn't want his neighborhood misrepresented, and continues to torment Spike at every opportunity. However, Heathcliff quickly learns that he is no match for Spike's mother.

Heathcliff takes Sonja to an Egyptian Museum for her birthday. Their, two spies mistake Heathcliff as an old Egyptian cat king that has returned to life. They decide to ""rescue"" him and return him to Egypt. Hector, Wordsworth and Mungo also hear of the party and attempt to crash it.

A mouse named Newton, who has super-human strength, ventures into Heathcliff's home and starts reeking havoc. Grandpa orders a robot to get rid of the mouse. The robot mistakes Heath for a mouse and starts chasing after him. Newton the mouse saves Heathcliff.

Heathcliff and Sonja land the leading roles in a movie which is filming in her town. However, once on the set, Heathcliff discovers he is merely a stunt double for a temperamental star. After surviving several rigorous stunts, Heathcliff challenges the conceited star, who storms off the picture, leaving Heathcliff to do the final love scene with Sonja.

There's a new arrival in the neighborhood. A highbrow English couple, and their equally-arched cat - Reginald.

While browsing through a magazine, Heathcliff dreams of what it would be like to be a rich Beverly Hills cat. He soon finds out, slipping off into dreamland. But once in Beverly Hills, Heathcliff finds out it's not the land of milk and honey he imagined. Lacking status, clothes and manners, he is soon pursued by an angry mob who feels he doesn't fit in. Heathcliff awakens to find he's safe in the Nutmeg household, which beats Beverly Hills any day.

The Nutmegs take Heathcliff to a "Shrink" -- the famous Dr. Hans Headfixer. After a few sessions, Heathcliff's a new, docile housecat. The Nutmegs aren't exactly happy with the 'new' Heathcliff when a burglar comes calling and Heathcliff actually helps the intruder out.

Grandpa accidentally feeds Heathcliff some Super doggy Vitamins. Gradually, Heathcliff undergoes a startling transformation which includes barking at trucks and passing up fish in favor of bones. Worst of all, he finds himself feeling friendly toward Spike. Heathcliff eventually sets things straight by taking a massive dose of cat vitamins, with Iggy's help.

Mugsy is tired of Spike losing to Heathcliff and tosses the dog into the streets. Iggy takes pity and offers to take Spike in, to Heathcliff's horror.

Heathcliff switches places with a rich cat, a look-alike named Beatcliff. They both adjust to their new lives, until Heathcliff meets Beatcliff's fiancé Agnes, and he skips out on their wedding.

Heathcliff remembers the story of how they first got together. Heathcliff's story of how it happened varies from Sonja's story.

Heathcliff thinks he witnesses Spike get dog-napped while he is laid up with a broken leg. He sends the Alley Cats on a detecting misadventure.

Because of his habit of stealing fishes, Heathcliff is put to a therapy where in order to break his habit.

Heathcliff's thrilled to learn that his Mom is coming to visit, but terrified that she'll discover he's fibbed about living with a wealthy family. He concocts a plan to fool his Mom, but learns the hard way that one should always tell the truth.

Heathcliff spreads false news around the neighborhood after hearing the city plans on trimming the trees.

After getting beat up, Jake, the new cat in the neighborhood, learns that Heathcliff is the boss. But Jake gets a cat costume and impersonates Heathcliff to make him look bad!

While robbing the fish store, Heathcliff hits his head and gets amnesia. The old neighborhood gang take advantage of him, as well as Spike.

Heathcliff, caught doing malicious mischief, packs up to join the French Cat Legion.

Iggy is trying to perfect a plant growth formula when Heathcliff stumbles (literally) into his experiment. The result leaves Heathcliff with fur that won't stop growing, until Iggy comes up with an antidote.

A pair of con artist cats decide to burglarize the Nutmeg home, but they have to get Heathcliff out of the way first.

Grandma Nutmeg regales Iggy with a tale about how Heathcliff wound up in the possession of a rare golden egg, and the whole neighborhood (including the crooks who stole it in the first place) wound up looking for it.

The Nutmeg travel to New York for a vacation. Grandpa spins a yarn about how it's rumored there are alligators living in the sewer system and whoever could capture one would be a hero. While visiting a museum, Grandpa leaves Heathcliff with the hatcheck girl...but not for long. Heathcliff soon escapes and before long he's down in the sewers beneath the Big Apple, searching for an alligator. When he actually runs into one the episode turns into a wild chase in the sewers as cat and reptile clash in a titanic battle.

Heathcliff and Spike travel to the North Pole to deliver returned letters back to Santa Clause. It turns out an elf sent them back as a joke.
