Such an emotional episode, for a mid season finale this was outstanding. Definitely preferred it to season 3's, despite all mid season finales being amazing. Once again, Viola Davis is an absolute powerhouse when it comes to acting, she'll probably get an Emmy nomination for that ending scene alone.
O damn, that was intens as always! This show continues to blow my mind and keep me on the edge of my seat every episode/season. And Viola Davis had another stellar performance!
Laurel actually managed to turn from one of my favorites to one of my least favorites in this season. It just made me so mad how she dragged everyone into this shit, then she slept with Frank who's so in love with her and I'm not a fan of the whole pregnancy storyline or her love for Wes which I still can't understand.
And the ending was a bit disappointing. I did like how intense the last scene was. The acting and mood was incredible and I absolutely can't deny that. But the rest was kind of disappointing imo.
All the hospital scenes we saw during these 8 episodes didn't even appear at the end and it was basically a teaser for January instead of giving us answers. And it annoyed me how Asher forgot to put Simon's fingerprints BACK on the gun and that no one wondered if the whole place might have security cameras. And I still don't understand how Simon managed to kill himself - I've rewatched that scene a few times and it still looks weird.
Can't stop thinking about how OUTSTANDING Aja Naomi King's performance this season is. Let's not even mention the stellar Viola Davis. Girls are going strong this season!

This episode was so intense!
I loved this episode and I can't even understand how a show can reach such an amazing level!
However I'm a bit disappointed that we don't have all answers, while this is the specificity of the Midseason finale! We didn't see Bonnie discovering the scene, Oliver as a witness, Laurel and Isaac in that hospital, Michaela not finding the baby… It felt like the episode was cut 5min too early…
But still… HOLY SHIT !!!!
Really, was that last bit really really needed? That too in this much detail? Some fascination for the macabre!
Also why is the episode felt like shot in the Matrix. Such a green tinge everywhere.

That was a marvellous episode. Quite the suspense and thriller. Emotional as well. I hope Connor doesn't die or anything, or Laurel, or anyone of the guys at that matter. :( I feel bad for Asher. Ugh too many thoughts. Beautiful acting from Karla Souza and Viola Davis :)

Unbelievable. Maybe the episode was even too heavy, not only the final scene but also Laurel bleeding out in the elavator. That scene took so long it really kicked in. But hell, I like it when series dare to be on the edge, so loved it.
HOLY SHIT!!! WHAT WAS THIS EPISODE, GEEZ!!! I thought Connor was the dead guy, but i'm glad it was Simon instead of him. But Dominick was hiding there, so i won't get my hopes up. VIOLA DAVIS IS SUCH A GODDESS, I BET SHE'LL BE NOMINATED FOR AN EMMY FOR THAT SCENE WITH LAUREL'S BABY. But making us wait until january 18 is just so mean... I'M LOSING MY MIND HERE

Why did Asher have to do the stupid thing? The keating five aren't even responsible for half the deaths in this show, but the second he tampered with the scene, now they have to find out "how to get away with murder" -_-
I feel so bad for Simon! All he wanted was to graduate from law school and get a job to stay in the country and they ruined his life, even if he wakes up he would go to jail, these have to be the most evil people to ever exist, and not even for what they do but for what they keep doing and have no remorse of.
