Dinosaurs from the Triassic to the Cretaceous period come to life on the giant IMAX screen through scientifically accurate computer animation. Take a journey with the world's top paleontologists as they find evidence that descendents of these creatures still walk, and fly, among us.

If it weren't for a series of cataclysmic events, a comet impact being first on the list, our planet could well still be the domain of dinosaurs. Following Pr Rodolfo Coria, a world-reknown Argentinian paleontologist, we visit sites of major discoveries he has contributed to in Patagonia and travel back in time to see these amazing beasts come to life in 3D. Patagonia has given us the largest living animal to ever walk the Earth: the titanesque plant-eating Argentinosaur, and its nemesis, the Giganotosaur, a bipedal carnivore that could easily challenge the famous T-Rex.

Using archaeological discoveries and genetics data, researchers and explorers piece together clues from mummies to better understand the culture, religion, medicine and daily life of antiquity. Relics and bodies provide a window into the world of the pharaohs and -- by reconstructing the DNA -- scientists hope to better understand present-day genetics and to advance medical treatments.

By using special cameras and techniques, David Fortney has captured the beauty of these parks in ways never seen before. Fluid, masterful camera work and serial photography gives you the sensation of soaring over and through the landscape.
