Alright, so we learn more about this Biba character who Mumei calls her "brother" for, I assume, having took her in for adoption.
He's more of an antagonist here, and the foolish Mumei is too stubborn to realize it, but Ikoma is urging to find out the Hunters' real motives. I don't get what they're doing with Mumei's character. One moment, she's fine and joyful with the people, and then the next moment, she's a totally different person. It almost seems like she's robotic at times, like a confused cyborg on a mission.
There's a slight spoiler in the episode description above, and I also want to add that the Hunters seem to be more experienced and have similar technology to Ikoma's that utilizes Kabane DNA to upgrade their weapons. That is unless Biba had just got the sword as he arrived to town the same day, then that explains it otherwise. Oh, and It was nice to the Hunters ladies team up during that field battle.
