A decent episode. I'm glad we saw more of Chika's character today, learning about how Chika still strugggles with guilt for the koto incidents, belieiving he hasnt earned the right to play his grandfather's koto, despite how clear its been that Chika wants to udnerstandd the koto, wants to preserve his granddad's memoreis, and cares about the koto. Im glad his guy friends let Chika know that its okay to play, and man, I really wanted to hear Chika play his grandad's piece, but looks like only they heard it. Also, man Gen just keeps becoming a sweeter granddad, learning about he he jsut wants Chika to always be smiling and happy and be surrounded by ippl who care about him was heartwarming, and its nice that gen reached out to his daughter to take care of Chika after Gen dies, to protect Chika even after death. Also, im glad Kurusu is getting serious about playing the koto now, and is becoming a more honest person (i mean her apologizing directly to everyone who she fucked with is respectable). Also, its looking like Kurata is being forced to confront his past, with him and the team now going to Meiryu high to listen to a joint session. Its obvious Kurata is worried everyone will get pesimistic if they listen to elite schools, like Kurata was for a while, but its obvious the team will be fine in my eyes. Also, this new girl from the rival school is interestingto say the least, im looking forward to her perforrmance at the joint session though. And, man can Chika and Houzuki just date already, its clear Houzuki has fallen for him, and there's so few ppl in the world who can make Chika smile like that, it would be a sweet relationship. And im glad the koto club is starting to understand what it means to face Rokudan head on, I cant wait to see the club's performance.
