murdock is SO hot omg
Getting always better last scene was brutal liked it :)
Wow, Kingpin looking indeed brutal and intense. This episode was so interesting.
Episode centers on showing the ties between Fisk/Murdock and the criminal world.
The episodes biggest take away is showing the opposing images of Fisk with his lover interest vs him in his business dealing. With Vanessa his is all kindness, chivalry and care. Winning her affection and interest, rather than lavishing her with money and overdone guestures. He shows her how much care he has for her. In stark contrast, in his business dealings he is unforgiving, relentless and utterly violent. He is unforgiving of error, and least of all of going against his orders. The final scene is Fisk brutally killing a Russian for having interrupted his dinner with Vanessa, and tainting with darkness what he has found in the light.
On the flip side, the darkness has come after Nurse Claire. She is kidnapped when she is identified as the connection to the masked man in black, tortured to get at who this nuisance is. Murdok finally finds her, bloodied and bruised. He quickly dispatches the thugs, but not before Claire has been touched by the darkness he wishes to destroy. Will this be the straw that forces Claire to rethink her involvement (both righteous and romantic) with Matt? Can she handle the darkness like Matt can?
Intense episode! I'm glad that Claire is alright.
Fisk is kind of boring... although that last scene was really great and made him look like the evil bad guy of the show
That slowly going presenting the characters of comics
It's good to see the softer side of Kingpin. We don't ever get to see much of that in live-action or animated form other than maybe the comics. I always imagine him to be a bit bigger as seen in the Spider-Man series, but this casting for him is good enough. Also, I didn't realize Matt knows Spanish.
Nothing particulary happens for all the episode, except in the ending scene that was amazing, but the rest? Why people love this series? It's so boring.
The first few episodes were only ok but this episode was so much better and that last scene was excellent.
the series have only one devil... and his name is.. Kingpin.
wow that was intense indeed ......
Honestly, I think Fisk was made too "human". He did not live up to the evil mastermind I hoped he would be.
El pasado nunca... puede borrarse completamente. Se queda merodeando. Como el olor de la madera quemándose.
excellent series so far. each episode gets better and better!
i will kill my enimies like this
So, one minute I'm feeling bad for Fisk because he (maybe?) got dumped (although I really wouldn't want to date the guy) and the next I'm thinking, "That's never going to come out of the carpet."
Wow....
I'm not a big fan of the street level superheroes and i've always prefered the more "fantastic" superheroes (I prefer Flash above Arrow for example). So I'm a bit biased and a show like this has more work convincing me than The Flash had.
BUT: They didn't need a lot of time to do just that. The first 3 episodes were great, but this one? Wow (again)... This was A W E S O ME and Kingpin's introduction was superb.
if they keep up this level, this show will be amazing.
Holy crap, this episode was intense!
yeah. great show but damn! last scene was nasty.
Damn!!! What amazing introduction of Kingpin's character!!! Excellent episode...

Another action-packed episode of Daredevil. I'm really fascinated by this William Fisk character, someone who like Matt also wants to create a better city out of Hell's Kitchen, having a vision for what it could be and doing everything he can to achieve it. And it looks like FIsk really has a soft spot for Vanessa, wanting to pursue a relationship with her and having his almost obsessive desire to be with her. This Vanessa woman is quite interesting too, someone who doesnt care about the money and power Fisk has, rather wanting to see Fisk for what he truely is, and viewing him as differnt from the other people of Hell's Kitchen. Im really enjoying how the plot is expanding so much regarding the crime world of Hell's Kitchen. Forthe Russians, we learned more about Anatoly and Vladimir, two Russian brothers who used to live lavishly as kings, but were stripped of everyhting and thrown into jail. Now they're in america (Hell's Kitchen) and are bosses of a Russian crime syndicate. And it looks like there's a troubled past between the Russians and Fisk's syndicate, despite them being business partnes. And now, with Daredevil messing up the Russians business dealings, Fisk's finances are being hurt by the Russians failing to meet their demands. But because of how proud Vladimir is, not wanting to accept that he cant defeat daredevil without Fisks help, Anatoly had to accept Fisk's deal on their behalf. Though unlucky for Anatoly, he came in at the wrong time, embarrasing Fisk in front of Vanessa, and and angry Fisk now killed him. Looks like there's now gonnna be an inner-war between the crime syndicates of Hell's Kitchen, between the Russians and Fisk's group, amist Daredevil trying to rid of them all. Also man Matt is in way deeper shit than he first thought, after realizing theres a whole ring of crime syndicates infesting Hell's Kitchen down to all aspects of the city, with Fisk at top, Matt knows how out of the water he is, with no real idea how to confront this issue from its roots, with all his efforts to stop corruption seemingly being in vain. And now Claire is completly wrapped up in this world too, after she was kidnapped and nearly killed by the Russians for info on Daredevil, and the worst thing is that Claire truely knew nothing about Daredevil, she just had to endure the suffering with no chance of escape. Luckily, my guy Matt stepped in to save the day yet again. Also, regarding Karen, looks like she and Ben are back on the story of Union Allied, ready to expose the corrupt dealings of them. Though Ben, whose well experienced with how these businesses will treat people who expose their corruption, is taking things smart and safe as they approach this story. I hope they eventually succeed in exposing the company.
