John meets Aika just as when she is recovering from a broken heart. He pursues her, but Aika is reluctant to start a relationship with him for fear of getting hurt again. She suppresses her feelings, until she can no longer deny that she has completely fallen for John. She gives their love a chance and her fear of being left behind disappears.
