Hmmm first of all I think it’s criminal flipping an under $100 a night motel to an instagram boutique hotel that charges over $200 a night. I thought it was gonna be just a motel remodel, kinda like what they did in Schitt’s Creek but nope. It’s sad cause motels are mostly used by families traveling on a budget, and people with housing problems, so if that’s a beach town popular in the summer and families vacation there, then now their holidays are screwed, I hope there’s more motels in the area. Then I think it was the stupidest thing ever to invest so much in the residence, yes they are gonna be there for 5 months, but after that who’s gonna be there? I can’t believe they were worrying so much about that bath tub situation. And then I feel they ruined the wood walls, that’s quality wood (I think) and it gives a lot of character to the room, if they wanted to illuminate the room they could’ve used mirrors, plants, lighting, but nowadays all design interior is white walls, an accent wall with a wallpaper, furniture with gold accents and target decor.
