Damn bruh! This episode was the pure definition of art

Holy moly. This has to be the best episode of TV since Breaking Bad went off the air. The raw intensity, the power, the incredible performance by the cast had me riveted. The psychological dialogue between doctor and patient exceeded anything the Sopranos ever tried. Vera's wordy monologues and Elliot's stoicism built a fire that burned hot and bright. Then like a light it was gone.
Great show. We are so lucky to bear witness.

Wow. This was... beautiful. While I am sad to see Vera's arc come to such a sudden end, the last "act" of this episode was pure catharsis.

loading replies

Nothing whatsoever happens to advance the season hack arc, but this is an incredible episode that brings together a lot from all four years of the show and provides a ton of insight into both Elliot and what all has driven him to this point. Great stuff, and it will certainly drive his actions for the remainder of the season and series.

The actor who played Vera needs to submit this one for an award or ten. The rest of the limited cast here was terrific, as well.

Another masterpiece of episode!
No one can be indifferent to such show, story written and masterly executed. This has to become a cult show!

loading replies

The best episode of any show I've ever watched. Should be framed, worshiped and aspired to. Sam it was beautiful, thank you.

loading replies

This is the episode that we'll look back on as one of the best - both in terms of the show itself, and in TV as a whole. The reframing of episodes past, the cinematography, the score, the emotion, everything makes this a 10/10 without question. Awards should be earned for this episode, for Rami and Elliot Villar both.

loading replies

I've said it over the years here on Trakt, and I'll say it again: Mr. Robot is the perfect example of the whole being MUCH, MUCH greater than the sum of its parts. How everything coalesces and/or dovetails is a bloody miracle. This episode hit me hard for personal reasons, but I could imagine that even the coldest bastard on the face of the planet would shed a tear.

I will thoroughly miss this show when it finishes, but I will never, ever forget it.

just... holy shit! Though in the buildup to that question about the sexual abuse made the question kind of obvious everything that came before it and, most of all, everything that came behind it was, simply put, breathtaking! Just the raw acting talent of the absolute shining stars of this episode, Remi Malek and Elliot Villar is nothing short of astonishing.

loading replies

Just give Rami Malek and Sam Esmail all the awards. Two absolute masters of their craft.

loading replies

I honestly don't know how to explain how incredible this episode was.
Let's just say that I was so overwhelmed I had to pause twice to pull myself together during the last twenty minutes; it was so raw and powerfully executed I felt like I was intruding into someone else's painful memories for real. Nothing even remotely compares to this show!

loading replies

OMG, what an episode. I'm speechless!

loading replies

That episode is built like a play on stage, very dark, deep and intense play. You'll see the screen come up, and down again.
Eventually, it's the most beautiful, emotional and intense episode of the entire series until now.
Simply astonishing.
It's actually a spoiler to know it's so great before starting the episode. I had to pause in the middle to think about how amazing it is.

loading replies

Don't get me wrong, this was a solid episode with good cinematography and excellent acting, but it felt a little out of character for the show. Seems like this was more of a show-reel for Sam Esmail's directing talent, which is completely fine of course. I expected more, however, from the Vera subplot. The big revelation was quite lackluster, and the change in aspect ratio was mildly annoying.

Every Episode of this season is a small masterpiece apart, different style with each other but perfectly keeping the connection with the story line.

loading replies

This is one of the best tv-show episodes of the last decade. Top notch acting, cinematography, plot. What a journey!

loading replies

Outstanding episode! A true masterpiece.

loading replies

omfg i don't have words to describe this episode.

loading replies

that's some Quentin Tarantino type shit right there!

loading replies

genuinely speechless. it was in front of us for years now. utterly impressed.

loading replies

This is 10 out of 10... an amazing episode.

loading replies

Simply brilliant. 5 words unrequired.

loading replies

Damn damn damn. What a stunning episode. It’s so so dark!!

I mean we had already many really really great episodes which were hard to top and they still did it. And now this episode… absolutely stunning in all categories!

loading replies

He is free now, isn't he? Yet I see two new characters have not made contact yet. But brilliant episode. Well shot. The weather was just perfect touch.

loading replies

This is the first plot-twist ever that I actually couldn't predict and did get shocked with. I never envisioned that the endpoint of all this would be such a touching subject. The actors played incredibly, this episode is surely a treasure of entertainment culture. I wonder how Elliot will from now on act, think, be, now that his "friend" was actually his biggest enemy. I'm just...Wow.

loading replies

What a pretentious and excellent episode at the same time. I'm not going to deny it, the actors did a magnificent performance (claps to Rami Malek), but involving a minor and irritating character like Vera at this point in the story to bring out the truth about Elliot, I don't think it was the best. I would preferred this role to have been taken maybe by Martin Wallstrom (Tyrell) and not that aspiring clown to Tony Montana.

loading replies

Wow! Just.... wow! One of the best episodes you will see on television.

loading replies

I enjoyed each and every act of this episode.

loading replies

This right here was the turning point of the season. Fucking wow.

loading replies

Unforgettably beautiful performances…this show is cemented amongst the pantheons of television WOW

loading replies

Okay I was wrong, maybe this is the best episode in the series after all.

loading replies

Fucking seriously ? You have Vera killed after this Oscar-worthy performance ?

loading replies

I initially thought this was a bad joke and the whole Vera was a complete sidetrack but this was necessary.
And who even saw that coming? I'm speechless.

loading replies

absolutely fantastic performance by rami malek. it was jaw dropping

loading replies

Wow. I am absolutely speechless. That last half hour was probably one of the most amazing things I've ever seen on television. It touched me deeply and made me feel so many things, I can't even describe them. I've been sitting here, just staring at the screen for quite a while now.
Mr. F****ing. Robot.

God damn, seeing the villain truly, beautifully and in such a bittersweet manner, relate to Elliot...That's a fucking story worth watching.

loading replies

Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhh! I fell asleep twice watching this, and i still gave it a 10. Me falling asleep had nothing to do with the beauty of this episode. If anything, maybe its tone soothed me into slumber like a baby being bundled up.

The most phenomenal episode that I will ever watch… almost certain of it
