Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie is a theatrical adaptation of the cult television hit Mystery Science Theater 3000. Set between seasons 6 and 7 of the show The evil scientist Dr. Clayton Forrester locks Mike Nelson and two robots in a spacecraft to watch terrible low-budget movies as part of his scheme to conquer the world. He projects "This Island Earth" with the intention of driving them crazy. However, the trio laughs and makes funny comments in every scene and dialogs, having good-time instead, and Dr. Forrester's ambitious plan does not work. Original movie was made in 1955.
Movie Plot: Aliens from Mars battle the Earth. Host Segment I: The crew does a skit about the Macy's Thanksgiving parade.
Movie Plot: A fugitive alien and a pilot from earth fight a few interplanetary wars. Segment I: Crow tells his version of the first Thanksgiving. Segment II: Joel demonstrates numbchucks.
Movie Plot: Japanese monsters Gamera and Barugon fight each other. Intro: Joel explains the show's premise and plays a phone message from a viewer. Segment One: Joel plays more phone messages, some asking for more of the show and another asking them to show the movies unriffed. Segment Two: A caller asks for more Chapstick (mispronunciation of Slapstick), so Joel and the 'bots promise to use more chapstick on the show. Segment Three: Crow gives a hygiene lesson. Segment Four: Servo and Crow make prank phone calls.
Movie Plot: The people of Japan deal with the monster named Gamera. Intro: Crow volunteers to be frozen as the SOL's Christmas tree. Segment One: Joel wonders if he should freeze Servo as a lawn ornament next Christmas. Segment Two: A caller asks why Godzilla hasn't appeared on the show. Callers are invited to take a Ted Turner survey. Segment Three: The crew debates the authenticity of the movie's monsters. Segment Four: Gypsy and Joel sing Christmas songs.

Movie Plot: Japanese monster Gamera and another Gamera from the planet Zigra fight each other. Intro: Crow is unfrozen. Segment One: Dr. Forrester and Dr. Erhardt, the mad scientists holding Joel captive, taunt Joel. They invite him back to earth for an underwater experiment, but Joel turns them down. Segment Two: Joel is very depressed so Cambot plays messages from viewers to cheer him up. Most of the calls are about Gypsy. Segment Three: The SOL crew talk about their New Year's Resolutions. They countdown the last seconds to midnight. Segment Four: The crew reviews the movie.
Movie Plot: Japanese monster Gamera and Guiron fight each other. Intro: The Mads (Mad scientists) are out of bad movies, until Dr. Erhardt finds another Gamera movie. Segment One: Crow dreams that he is in control of the experiment and the Mads are forced to watch the movies. He keeps sending them "A Planet of the Apes Christmas." Segment Two: Servo and Crow discuss dreams. Servo's is particularly disturbing. Segment Three: Joel tells the 'bots of his dreams, which include operating a crane and waiting in line for Metallica tickets. Segment Four: The crew sings about the Satellite of Love.
Movie Plot: Ants wage an attack against researchers in remote Arizona. Intro: The Mads sell Joel's car to raise $30,000. He then informs them that he had $30,000 hidden under the seats. Segment One: Joel tells Servo and Crow about Isaac Asimov's Rules of Robots. They don't agree. Segment Two: The crew discusses what they would do if they ever get back to Earth. Joel wants to turn off his water, which he had left running. Segment Three: The crew plays I Spy, which becomes a rendition of Wipeout. Segment Four: Joel makes Crow and Gypsy recite a new Robot Law.

Pilot produced for KTMA TV23 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This half-hour dry-run pilot featured riffing on only a portion of the movie and some rudimentary host segments. It was never shown on television and no fan copy is known to exist. However, the primitive "door sequence" and what appears to be the opening host segment, is featured in the MST3K Scrapbook tape, once sold by Best Brains, and it the pilot in its entirety was shown by Joel Hodgson at a convention appearance by Cinematic Titanic. Never aired, production still for TV23 places production date as 10/3/88 Original film made in 1969.

Plot: Dashing, daring criminal Diabolik is on the lam with his equally attractive girlfriend, after he steals $10 million from the Italian government.
1010 - IT LIVES BY NIGHT (1974; PG; 95m) a.k.a. THE BAT PEOPLE a.k.a. IT'S ALIVE Plot: While on his honeymoon, a doctor has some serious side effects, after being bitten by a bat.
Today's experiment includes the stilted educational short, What to Do on a Date, which inspires Tom Servo to ask out Gypsy. The feature film is the Roger Corman adventure flick, Swamp Women, starring Mike Connors back when he called himself Touch. A ridiculously easy jailbreak, a woman who seems to be in a swimming pool when she's supposed to be drowning in a swamp, and endless stock footage of a bayou are three features of this cinematic torture instrument. Meanwhile, the Mads invent a new feature for TV sets. Joel invents the Andrew Lloyd Weber grill. Crow and Tom Servo make fun of "Star Trek." Written by J. Spurlin
An adventurer sets sail in search of the bird of happiness in Sadko. Crow has trouble with his own lifelong quest and the guys have a meeting of the Junior Jester Club.
Start with the The Deadly Bees, but set it in the deep, deep, deep south, replace the female pop singer with a male lead who's also blonde and only slightly less feminine, replace bees with worms, and that's about it. There are lots of worms in this movie, and possibly the best stinger line in series history ("You gonna be da worm face!") Unlike The Deadly Bees this movie has lots and lots of location shots. However they don't make the movie any better--only that much more sad and distressing. Like Roger Corman's films, the plot is revealed during extremely long stretches of exposition between disconnected bursts of action, making the film more of a slideshow than anything else. The hero isn't, the special effects aren't, and the plot revolves around the idea that a bunch of inbred hillbillies are too stupid to leave a dangerous situation (so at least the plot is somewhat plausible).
An astronaut returns from space, dead. The base that recovered him (staffed by three men called Steve, one called Dave, and a a lady Doctor) is then cut off from the outside world by an alien. The revival of the dead astronaut, the death of a scientist, and the discovery of alien embryos inside the resurrected astronaut's body bodes ill for the survival of those trapped at the base and for the rest of humanity. The movie riffed was "Night of the Blood Beast", the same film as episode 7-1. The difference between this episode and that one is that this version aired only once and the live action comedy bits were all related to thanksgiving. It was the non-thanksgiving version that was used in reruns, this thanksgiving version was aired only once. On the SOL: The crew discusses today's football game / debate: Stuffing vs. Potatoes / Crow talks with Dr. Forrester's guests / Mike and the 'bots have thanksgiving dinner. In Deep 13: Dr. Forrester is having a thanksgiving party / The party guests have Thanksgiving dinner / Dr. Forrester's mother, Pearl, presents her home made Turkey Surprise.

This Thanksgiving, break out the pureed giblets, crack open some canned wassail and join your fellow MSTies for the beloved annual Mystery Science Theater 3000 Turkey Day Marathon. Hosted by Jonah Ray, Emily Marsh, Tom Servo, Crow T. Robot, and GPC2, this year’s event will include special exclusive announcements regarding the films being used for Season 13. Starting at 9am ET / 6am PT on Thursday, November 25, the marathon will feature an extended lineup of eight classic MST3K episodes, with four chosen by fans via a bracket elimination poll and four chosen by Joel Hodgson and the creative team behind Season 13. This year’s marathon will feature new host segments with upcoming Season 13 cast members Jonah Ray, Emily Marsh, Tom Servo (Conor McGiffin), Crow (Nate Begle), and GPC2 (Yvonne Freese). Throughout the marathon, exclusive teasers will reveal each of the 13 films that will be riffed in the show’s upcoming thirteenth season, which will premiere exclusively on the show’s new virtual online theater, the Gizmoplex, in 2022.

Joel Hodgson, Trace Beaulieu, Frank Conniff, and Mary Jo Pehl revisit their own tribulations with Torgo in Group Therapy, an amusing interview segment that examines the show's love-hate relationship with Manos.
Mike Nelson riffs on Reefer Madness a 1936-1939 American propaganda exploitation drama drug addiction film revolving around the melodramatic events that ensue when high school students are lured by pushers to try marijuana—from a hit and run accident, to manslaughter, suicide, attempted rape, hallucinations, and descent into madness due to marijuana addiction. The film was directed by Louis Gasnier and starred a cast composed of mostly unknown bit actors.
Best Brains presented "MST Alive" at the Uptown Theater on July 10, 1992. They lampooned the movie World Without End. It was something of an experiment to see how the premise would work in front of a large audience. Also, ideas for a live tour were being thrown around.

Reefer Madness (originally made as Tell Your Children and sometimes titled The Burning Question, Dope Addict, Doped Youth, and Love Madness) is a 1936 American propaganda film about drugs, revolving around the melodramatic events that ensue when high school students are lured by pushers to try marijuana – upon trying it, they become addicted, eventually leading them to become involved in various crimes such as a hit and run accident, manslaughter, murder, conspiracy to murder and attempted rape. While this is all happening they suffer hallucinations, descend into insanity, associate with organized crime and (in one character's case) commit suicide. The film was directed by Louis J. Gasnier and featured a cast of mainly little-known actors.
[2-D VERSION] In MST3K's first-ever Halloween episode, the crew watches a 3D horror film about an accursed skull mask in THE MASK in 3D (1961). Meanwhile, on the SOL, Jonah teaches the bots about the spookiest holiday.
Assignment: Venezuela is a 1956 short film produced by the Creole Petroleum Corporation, created to encourage American employees to work at their location(s) in Venezuela. Creole was the Venezuelan subsidiary of Standard Oil of New Jersey, later renamed Exxon. The short shows an American employee of the company arriving at Venezuela to work at the Lake Maracaibo oil fields. His narration serves as the letters he writes to his family. He learns about the country's historic background and sees the country's sights and its cities, which impress him with their modernity. He looks into a temporary housing complex while waiting for a house and learns Spanish while preparing for his family's eventual arrival.

Gypsy, meanwhile overhears the Mads' plans to kill Mike, but mishears and thinks they plan to kill Joel. Segment Three: Gypsy tries to find a way to get Joel off the ship and save him from the Mads. Despite her concern, Joel doesn't want to go. Segment Four: Gypsy asks Mike for help in getting Joel off the ship. He gets the keys to the SOL controls from Frank and informs Gypsy that there is an escape pod hidden on the ship. Segment Five: Gypsy uses the ship's only escape pod to send Joel home. In Ancient Rome: Pearl, Bobo, and Brain Guy are in the dungeon. Movie Plot: a Vermont based film made in 1991 about a college professor who creates a time-traveling plane and sells it to an evil cooperation. He finds that the cooperation uses the plane as a weapon to destroy the future, and he has to go back in time several times to stop himself from selling his time machine in the first place. On the SOL: Crow goes back in time to the 1980s to talk Mike out of taking temp jobs, thus stopping him from getting the job in Deep 13 that got him trapped on the SOL / The 'bots are dismayed to find Mike replaced by Mike's alcoholic brother Eddie / Eddie tells the 'bots that Mike played in a band and died, prompting Crow to go back and undo his earlier mission. On the Widowmaker: Pearl has put Bobo and Brain Guy down for the night and invites Mike over for a chat / Pearl informs Mike that there is now an extra Crow roaming around 1985 Wisconsin.
