Very good Series Finale. The show had it's ups and downs throughout the years and this episode definitely belongs to the ups.
Even though it felt a bit rushed a times, I liked almost all endings for the characters. Maddie choosing to concentrate on her life now instead of rushing into another relationship was sad but understanding. Her moving out and growing up was nice to see. Daphne to get her own record deal was also great and what she wanted all along.
Things I didn't like were Gunnar and Scarlett not getting back together. Scarlett got her happy end in form of Clare Bowen's real-life husband which was okay but considering that her and Gunnar were setup for a happy end from the very start, it was kinda disappointing. Also Deacon's and Jessie's relationship was left hanging in the air. But these were storylines that needed more time to evolve so I guess the writers had no other choice here.
Maybe the best things in this finale were Juliette and Avery's happy end and for sure a last appearance by the great Connie Britton as Rayna Jaymes in a flashback scene which was bittersweet.
The very last scene was interesting as it merged from TV-life to real life. I've never seen anything quite like it and thought it was very nicely done. I'm sure going to miss seeing new episodes of Nashville and listening to new songs every week. But the good thing is that this show has left a huge legacy not only six seasons of great entertainment but thirteen soundtrack albums (got 'em all ;)) and loads of additional singles and great country music which I'm sure going to listen to all the time.
