Pure awesome now we are talking :ok_hand:
Only 9 episodes in the season when it clearly needed more, and you can see it here. The timeline is all fucked up.
When they get there, the fog has been there for at least a week. But the fog is not there when they kidnap Lily. They don't mention it, neither in the lab, nor Dorian when he's going back, nor all the women at his place. Maybe their story is completely separated. (Edit and spoiler for episode 9: No it's not Victor joins the others in episode 9, he's in the same timeline.)
Surprisingly great change and superb performance for Renfield.
Ethan is definitely really lucky with his travels. He went from London to New Mexico without having a full moon and could finall turn just when he needed to escape. Then all is rushed, they're coming back as fast as they can, it luckily doesn't happen on the boat this time either and again, it' just in time to save him in a fight. By the way, why would the kid wait for Ethan at Victor's place ? Nobody had any contact with him the whole season.
Dorian getting back his home, nice.
Victor can't go though the procedure with Lily. Which is absolutely no surprise, it's a clear sign since the start that the scenarists did not meant it to happen. Lily is just chained by her feet, and with a long chain. Compare it to how the previous patient was restrained. And he was just a normal human when she has super strength. They even go to great length to show he can't -and is afraid- to come close enough to give her a glass of water. How the fuck would he stick a needle in her eye ??
Creature's story, sob sob, so sad, so uninteresting.
Lily's sob story sucked too. I guess it was meant to give her a big last emotional scene but it really comes out of nowhere. This would have been better used on Brona in season 1. She never expressed anything but anger and a mad bloodlust, and now this, all of a sudden ? Not buying it. Maybe if it was meant as a trap for Victor to free her, and then she'd kill him, but nope.
Creature's story: sad and boring.
Again, Cat is awesome.
Haven't finished the episode but the storytelling here is bad... what's up with the timeline? Acoording to where we were left of the last episode, Frankenstein had just trapped Lily, and in this episode we see it just where we were left of... Also with John Clare's story and his family, and now Ethan and co. are arriving in England and the fog has errupted... ok that's fine but the girl.. jesus forgot her name, Caroldine or something, said the fog at first killed some people.. and last week over 7000... I don't really get this. Oh, and now there are crazy vampires out there as well... And... nah I don't get it, seems like in this episode they knew it would be canceled or something? :/ Such a shame, the season should have had at least 10 -12 episodes. I feel it will end rushed or maybe not.. but well, with the timeline problems in this episode, I was confused.
Well that was quite the twist at the end.
