I love HOW MUCH this episode triggered catholics and religious people. That's freedom, people, deal with it. Awesome show!

I wonder how many people will quit watching the show after this one. Well, the whole is about a guy with a godlike power going on the search for God because he abandoned his post, so you have to expect some blasphemous things here and there. But the Jesus adulterous sex scene, that's a whole other level.
And for the ones that survived that, here comes the Pope, and Humperdoo, Jesus inbred 25th grandson, the Messiah. Oh and Jesus being more or less offered God's job. How hardcore is that for American TV ? I'll bet it's even worse than all the gore in the first episodes.

Wow... This was a strong one. Mocking Jesus Christ and having Jesse shove a binder into Herr Starr's face in the same episode was a bit too much. Joking aside, although the latter is quite funny and welcome and fits the show, I really hope they'll tone down the former for the next episodes. Please, Preacher, don't go there, don't be that show. Season two has been great, so far, don't ruin it all, now.

Great episode. I was brought up Catholic and was not at all offended. Found it very funny! Lighten up people. It is just a show not a religious statement of any kind. Hope they keep pushing it further!

Anyone notice Humperdoo's drawings?

I’ve been thoroughly enjoying this show up to now despite the fact that it has regularly pushed the envelope on certain religious fronts. But the cold open in this one crossed a line that can’t be uncrossed, going from funny as hell to extremely offensive and profane in an instant. So even before the credits rolled, I knew that it was time for me to part company with this one. I wish Team Jesse the best, but I won’t be accompanying them on any more of their adventures.

The beginning of the episode, after the sex scene , was absolutely hilarious. I loved it.
