My childhood, what a jolly good show!
The show was really good and funny at the beginning but the last seasons, being the “Dome" and “Space" arcs the main culprits, became really boring. Nevertheless, one of the greatest finales, an a jolly good show.
I loved this show but the dome arc came outta no where for me
My Favorite show of all time, it was funny, it was emotional, but more importantly, to me regular show was a window into the future, into adult hood.I always worried about growing and having responsibilities.Having to deal with work, relationships and expectations that are set on me as an adult.Much like Mordecai and Rigby.Regular Show put me at ease about all these things and it did so with the most realistic and relatable main cast I’ve ever seen. It’s really hard not to love these characters.Thank you Mr.Quintel for making an awesome series about a blue jay and a raccoon slacking off at work
Damn jolly good show!
I love cartoons... I been watching since I can't remember and gonna watch until I can't remember again
Through all its crazy and out there ideas, J.G Quintel's Regular Show is a fun, likeable and possibly one of the most edgiest shows to come from Cartoon Network’s history.
I really loved it didnt really love last season's second part but finale was awesome.... So cool wooooooaaaaohhh
Total run time is more than 2 days can someone edit that?
Rather weak when trying to make grand, overarching plots (specially in the final season) but often brilliant with the smaller, regular-length episodes. Even if the finale isn't up to par, it's overall very enjoyable!
Awesome and heartfelt ending, feels like an era ending :(
Splendid, magnificent, marvelous, Jolly good show!
Oh, indeed, jolly good show.
This was the most unexpected surprise i had so far this year! I had a loose idea of what the show was about but not anything specific and honestly it didn't seem all that interesting. However when the second season of Rick and Morty ended and Gravity Falls concluded i started looking for something to fill the void. Regular show did more than that.
Let me be clear, this is not at all like the shows mentioned above but it really stands out (just like them) among the Johnny Tests and the Family Guys we seem to be getting. This show has the simplest premise and could have easily failed due to the implications having such a broad base plot to work with and the sizes of the episodes - eleven minutes don't leave much time to develop situations and characters- but thanks to the really smart writing this show just keeps on getting better.
First off the liner plot it has throughout each of the seasons feel like it's always affected by whatever is happening at the time. Even "filler" plays some role at the end and that makes watching this show addicting. Secondly i feel like every person has character in this cartoon, something you cannot say for most. The writers seem to understand that if you impose a trait on a character over and over it only overshadows them and makes them a plot device oftentimes despised by the viewers cough*Patrick*cough and because of that i never felt that someone was just a jerk all the time and i didn't want to see them onscreen (except from Benson around s3-s4 but maybe that was intentional). Lastly i love the music this show uses. It uses real songs without them feeling out of place or forced and originals when it is appropriate without overdoing it.
This show is not perfect or the best on air right now but that is only saying something for the other shows that have been airing these years (seriously if you haven't go watch Rick and Morty). Regular Show is going strong after 7 seasons and i dont want it to stop.
Usually these kinds of shows get kind of stale after a few seasons, but Regular Show seems to hold up just fine at season seven.
Regular Show > Adventure Time
