The storyline in this episode wasn't as ridiculous as the rest of the season has been.
Unfortunately, we were subjected to multiple "musical/singalong" moments that were out of place and as cringe-worthy as you'd expect.
I see next Season has been announced to be the last: I'm not surprised.
Terrible episode....The show is getting worse as the episodes progress. This season in particular has been a big disappointment but this episode had no point and the songs didn't match the storyline or the characters at all... ridiculous.
How deranged do you have to be to approach someone you like, but know is in a relationship, and ask/assume that they might be willing to have an open relationship?! Fucking mental.
Also, Betty has never shown any inclination towards being bi, but now she seriously contemplated it? Yeah, that's right, no one can be truly straight; everyone is secretly bi. Or, at least women are. Sure.
Terrible ending to the TBK story. They clearly had no idea how to end it, so they just got it over with.
Good thing everyone on the railroad crew knew that song, lol.
That bachelorette party song was fucking horrendous. Also, they walked out onto the convention floor mid-song, but everyone was ok with this and no one was wondering what the hell was happening. Haha
I love how every now and then they have Veronica namedrop Katy Keene for no reason. No one gives a shit at this point. The show had been canceled for over 2 years. Were they hoping to spur the Riverdale fanbase into wanting that show revived?
So sad that they are ruining the chemistry between Betty and Archie. They have completely changed the narrative between these two and are now trying to revert back to the old set up (Jughead and Betty, Archie and Veronica)...
C'mon, another musical/singalong episode? I don't even know why i'am still watching that shit.
This was the payoff episode for the years of TBK stuff? They’re going to have to really stretch to make any significance of their identity down the road.
I wanted to like this episode, but instead of showing more stuff from the slaughter-con (:joy:) like the full Dr Curdle's autopsy display or the agent's symposium, they showed incoherent scenes (in terms of this episode's theme) with Percival & the workers, the agent hitting on Betty :face_with_raised_eyebrow:, Archie playing the guitar & the girls singing :joy: and the terrible curse that Cheryl threw on baby Anthony, the bachelorette party omg...
And of course as mr Craven taught us, they always come back for a last scare...

Rhyming Creme de menthe with Oscar de la Renta? Seriously?
