The best episode so far! Also, so sad! It really brought tears to my eyes.
It was sad to see that despise all Clark's powers and will, he couldn't save Ryan from his faith because he can't save everybody, specially dealing with a disease.
Lex was the perfect friend and showed that he has a good heart in the way he treated Ryan and everything happening to him.
The saddest one. I thought it ended with Clark and Ryan on the air balloon. I forgot it ended with Clark at the hospital and his friend dead.

This episode never fails to make me cry. It's so lovely to see Ryan return and so painful to watch him go. The whole situation is one that Clark's powers cannot solve so it's an important step in his journey. Also gives great levels to Lex. The support he gave was telling and more so the quote about the path to darkness. Smallville definitely has my favourite version of Lex.
