This episode never fails to make me cry. It's so lovely to see Ryan return and so painful to watch him go. The whole situation is one that Clark's powers cannot solve so it's an important step in his journey. Also gives great levels to Lex. The support he gave was telling and more so the quote about the path to darkness. Smallville definitely has my favourite version of Lex.
