[6.0/10] Most of the Young Jedi Adventures episodes to date have had some kind of central idea or bigger theme to build around. The closest this one comes is “Aren’t jellyfruit great?” As a result, this episode feels like just a bunch of stuff that happened, rather than a genuine story.

The crew chasing Tabor to a pirate hideout after he’s stolen some special fruit for a local festival is a perfectly fine premise. Very little comes of it though. The kiddos pretending to be pirates wasn’t as cute or funny as the show seemed to think, and the quest to track down Tabor and the fruit ended up being pretty mild.

There’s some decent moments, like the pirates mostly being friendly and Nash upholding the spirit of the festival by showing kindness to everyone, even the pirates and Tabor, not just her friends. But for the most part this is a lesser light.
