The episode was a bit of a let down. Daniel was a little too corny and Vala just isn't that interesting of a character. In fact, she is kinda annoying.
First you feel excited because it looks like Daniel is going to Atlantis, but then you feel disappointed because it looks like Daniel isn't going to Atlantis, but then you feel delighted because you get to meet Vala for the first time.
Love Vala, and she has such a great introduction episode. Good showing for Daniel and Hammond as well.
I’m not sure they could really travel to the Pegasus galaxy in their lifetimes could they?
Such a fun episode and definitely one of the standout ones. The introduction of Claudia Black‘s Vala brings a fun new character to the Stargate Universe. Her chemistry with Daniel is instantly recognizable and it‘s really fun to watch.
The best kind of filler episode. If you like Vala that is. And why wouldn't you?
Best opening scene in several seasons, if not the entire series. It was just perfect.
