Alliday party! I was sad we missed out on the holiday episodes but this was a great way to compensate that!

Mateo and Eric talking about getting married reeks of the writers rushing forward that plot in order to give the character a happy conclusion as the show nears its end, rather than feeling authentic or organic. We've seen them together like... what, two or three times? I'm not expecting some in-depth characterization of this relationship, but there's been hardly any development of it. There's not even many mentions of off-screen happenings that would give context.
