Spot helps around his grandparents place and helps out Grandma and hears some of Grandpa's story of his bygone days as a fireman. We also learn that Grandma is a good baker and her cakes has always won the contest at the carnival, and she's submitting another cake this year. Then Spot's friends drop by, and they save Grandma's cat from a tree, save the carnival from having no musicians after the musicians' float truck broke down, and join a parade with Grandpa's fire truck, and Spot gets to ring the bell. Grandma's cake wins the contest!
Spot receives a parcel with a ball in it. Then he goes out to mail a letter for his mom, and invites his friends over to play with his new ball along the way.
Spot hs misplaced his bone, and goes all over the house looking for it before finally finding it buried in the garden. He then ties a string to it so that it doesn't get lost again (dispite Sam telling him that it looks like he's taking it for a walk).
Spot gets sent out for a walk. He sneaks through a fence, and after being briefly frightened by a cat, he meets a woodpecker. He then meets a fish and falls into a pond before heading home.
Spot's dad takes Spot out for a walk in the woods, and Spot asks all the animals there if there's any Lions, Tigers, Elephants or Bears there.
It's Spot's birthday. They all have a game of hide-and-seek before Spot opens his presents.

Spot goes out after it stops raining, go jumps in some puddle, goes home, and gets forced into taking a bath because he's dirty from jumping in the puddles.
Spot goes out to fly a kite, but his kite gets stuck in the tree. He then decides to play around until he catches his neighbour's runaway hat, and his neighbour rescues Spot's kite.
Spot goes to a beach, buries his dad in the sand while his dad is asleep, and meets a new friend there.
Spot and Sam visit a farm and meet many different animals, but Spot can't find any baby animals until Sam shows them to him.
Spot stays overnight with his friend Steve. He forgets to pack one very important item, but luckily his mom saves the day - and night!
