What a great scene between an angry Margaret and
a sad Elizabeth

It took me a while to get used to the new cast, but this episode really settled it! Great conversation between Elizabeth and Margaret. Also loved the flashback scenes.

"That was middle class. Promise me we'll never do this again"
Just after this show made me cry for the characters it gut-punches me with aristocratic decadence.
Good thing I couldn't care less about the real monarchy except maybe Diana.

Oh my. What an amazing episode. So many powerful performances. Imelda Staunton is brilliant as Queen Elizabeth and also Lesley Manville does a phenomenal job as well. Just such a pleasure to watch.

This episode just destroyed me, in the best possible way.

That was way better than the previous episodes of this season. Loved the conversation between Elizabeth and Margaret, that has been in the making for 4 and half seasons.

But honestly, they are all still human beings, and the way they're expected to be better, to be removed from their petty human emotions and wants, to just function and show no weakness, is... well... inhuman. I wonder who really started all that BS, the "system" itself or the public - or if it's some kind of chicken/egg conundrum.
