Documentary set on board the Majestic Princess, capable of carrying 3,500 guests and with a crew of 1,400 - including a few familiar faces from past series. The cruise ship, under the leadership of captain Dino and hotel general manager Jasper, will be travelling from Australia and New Zealand to Hong Kong and Singapore - with an equator-crossing party along the way. This route represents new ground for the company and creates more than its fair share of navigational challenges.

As the Majestic Princess leaves Hong Kong bound for Singapore, Geordie hotel services engineer Scott faces a tsunami of sheets when the conveyor breaks down. There is a life-changing development for identical twins and front-desk workers Maria and Francesca when the latter is given the chance of promotion - meaning she has to leave the ship and her sister in less than 12 hours to take the new job. Aerial acrobats Pav and Izzy work on an ambitious new routine in the theatre and US passengers Joe and Bill are blown away by a trip to Ho Chi Minh City.

New Captain Dino Sagani returns to the ship after a two month break and is excited to be taking Majestic Princess into the Southern Hemisphere and on to Sydney for the first time. Meanwhile, the whole ship pulls together to put on a celebratory ceremony as the ship crosses the Equator, but tensions rise in the kitchen as chef Nilo struggles to prepare food for the occasion.

The Majestic Princess picks up 3,500 new guests and sets sail from Sydney Harbour to circumnavigate New Zealand's stunning coastline. But the ship soon encounters 65-knot winds, leaving Captain Dino with a tough decision - does he push forward into the treacherous weather and on to the highlight of the itinerary, the extraordinary fjords and a key location for The Lords of the Rings, or abandon the attempt and disappoint thousands of passengers?

Captain Dino Sagani captains the ship into Wellington, where high winds cause a huge navigational challenge for the bridge team. Food manager Karen and customer service director Ren step up as hotel general manager Jasper goes on leave, while retail manager Fernando tries to find a way to boost sales.
