[8/10] Pretty good! It’s a little Looney Tunes with the giant boulder nearly crushing the Simpsons’ car, but it’s also filled with well-observed bits about family road trips. Parents showing off the latest scenic viewpoint to bored children, kids trying to read their rubbish (featuring Binky and Akbar or Jeff!), and the whole family stretching after getting out of the car feels true to life in that exaggerated cartoon why. Plus, Homer chasing Bart into the titular canyon, eliciting a “it is a remarkable echo” from Marge is a good punchline. One of the better-constructed shorts so far.
