[8/10] I recall this short from the “138th Episode Spectacular”, and I get why they picked it for the retrospective/showcase. This one is more polished and closer to the feel of The Simpsons’s first season than many of the other shorts. Bart’s Jacques Cousteau parody is fun. There’s some nice Homer/Bart antagonism. And while the situation gets a bit out there, the short features some fun animation with the various waterside hijinks. Overall, another short where you can feel the tone and tenor of The Simpsons starting to jell.
