I thought I fall asleep and dreamed watching the episode... But nope, there were fucking aliens at the end
The twist was underwhelming and saw it coming a mile away. There's no subtlety to this episode.
I've yet to understand wtf I just watched...I feel like I'm in the twilight zone.
Ahhhhhhhh...ok.... I get it now. I think :type_5:♀
Well the Gremlin and Talking Tina show up in this episode and there is something about the gold necklace on the alien statue that rings a bell but my old memory may be playing tricks.
Those evil white colonizing Christian sons o'bitches shoving their goddamn Christmas up everyone's asses! As if it's not an amalgamation of several heathen feasts that existed in days long gone. And fuck them for pretending to be saviours by pardoning others. Love thy neighbours... more like subjugate thy neighbour am I right? Forcing people to do things "their way" and all that jazz... With their punch and trees and balls in the trees. Bunch of hypocrites, the lot of 'm!
But that's only the first half, the second half is spoilerterritory.
Moral of the story: Make sure they all disappear some way or the other and you'll get invaded by an unknown force which might - or might not- be better.
On itself the episode was mediocre. It is, and has been advertised as, a political show with a certain message but... I'm not quite sure what message that is at times. Maybe by the end of the season it'll neatly wrap up into some kind of all-encompassing fable of the rights and the wrongs, of life and people, societies and groups... One can only hope it'll be that.
Cause if it's not...
Next week though we'll have a subtle episode about what happens when you put a kid in charge of a nation.
I don't know why I keep expecting more from this show. It's got great actors and setting but the plot is like a goosebumps novel.
WHAT A LOAD OF UTTER RUBBISH, COMPLETE BS
I THOUGHT THE COMEDIAN WAS THE WORST EPISODE BUT THIS UTTER CRAP MADE THAT ONE LOOK LIKE A MASTERPIECE. BORING, CONTRIVED, SILLY FOR THE WAY EVERYBODY WAS ACTING FOR SOMETHING sorry SOMEONE JUST POPPING UP IN A CELL, THE BAD LANGUAGE JUST FOR THE HELLA OF IT, DO YOU KNOW WHAT AM STOPPING THERE FOR MY REVIEW THIS GARBAGE DOE'S NOT DESERVE MY TIME AND THOUGHT'S.
AM JUST ABOUT OUT NOW OF THIS STUPID BORING LAZY WRITING OF A TRAIN WRECK OF A REBOOT OF A SHOW.
IT'S NOT A PATCH ON THE
OG TZ. THIS WAS BY FAR THE MOST STUPID BORING RIDICULOUS SHIT EPISODE EVER PUT TOGETHER BY A 3 YEAR OLD, FOR A 5 YEAR OLD
LANGUAGE N ALL.
GROWL WHAT A COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME, I AIN'T NEVER GOING TO GET BACK
-10/10
Ir was great to see "the gremlin" in the police station from the old TZ days.
This was the M. Night Shyamalan episode from the series. I thought it was a really good build-up (albeit, again, not that original - we've seen science fiction about time travelling disaster tourism before) - but then another riubbish ending as the writers tried too hard to give it a clever twist .
So that's what the 'A' stands for.
At least, Jeff got his pie.
This is all that matters. ^^
Much better episode. I guess the show is starting to get better. But kind of disappointed by the weak ass writers.

The conclusion wasn't entirely satisfying for me but I really enjoyed the suspense and the build up to that moment.
