The sound and music departments did such a great job on this episode. The sound mix in the club scenes perfectly evoke that all-encompassing, slightly claustrophobic feeling music will create in those kinds of spaces. I'm only speculating, but I feel like that physical sensation might be due to a conscious effort to include the type of frequencies that evoke a comparable feeling for a deaf or hearing impaired person experiencing the episode.
