Fuck me, I was not prepared for such a heavy episode - maybe the heaviest episode so far. Basically a season finale worth of content, not sure how the show goes forward from here with 15 episodes left. Gee.
The ending is hard to watch in 2020, I can't imagine how audiences felt 30 years ago when they were much less desensitized to violence on TV.
slapped me with one of the most disturbing scenes in television i've ever seen it both revealed so much to me while at the same time send me into cardiac arrest this is not a drill
The ending of this episode. Wow! Lonely Souls! Awesome! Are you sure this was made in 1990? :o
Masterpiece!!!
Best television episode I've seen the final 10 minutes is a masterpiece
I knew something was up with Leland!! But how the hell can there be 10 or so episodes left? Can't be that simple, can it? Super excited to keep watching and see what fuckery is coming.
A must watch episode. Watch it, and you'll understand why this series is a legend and why David Lynch is a genius. Keep in mind, this was almost 30 years ago, long before The Wire, The Sopranos or Breaking Bad. This episode opened new horizons and stated that television can also be art.

This is absolutely brutal for television made in 1991, and even today I was unprepared for it.
