I have literally, literally no idea about anything anymore. All I know is that the story of Twin Peaks is, overall, a profoundly sad one. Not the heroic victory I was expecting.
Bamboozle!!
I can't believe I trusted Lynch would give me closure.
Possibly the least satisfying conclusion possible. Last episode was a better last episode than this.
After reading several pieces and listening to a detailed podcast devoted to the finale, I more fully understand and have come to appreciate what happened to close out the season. However, I still don't care much for the ending and dislike that there were so many narrative dead ends along the way; this revival was much more frustrating than rewarding as a whole for me.
Season 2 finale is one of my favorite episodes of all time. And although I really, really like this finale as well, there's a feeling of deliberateness to its admirably stubborn irresolvability that makes it comes off a tad manufactured, not as spontaneous and darkly free-falling as that one (last five minutes or so come a bit close). Episode 17 is one of my favorite of the season though; the Laura stuff destroyed me.
i think i saw Bob in the window. Thats probably what spooked Laura.

This is more like a epilogue than a true finale. That said, what the hell?
