I feel this season goes harder even than the previous one.
Whatever happens in the episode the flashbacks of Frieren to Himmel were definitely on point.
The trauma flashbacks are incredibly effective layering in what happened back during the demon attack in Stark’s village.
You don’t get the whole story in one go because his mind was not ready for it to begin with.
I really like Flamme. Such a chill figure.
This episode breaks with the pacing by smearing out the arc over multiple episodes. Not too sure I’m happy about that.
Loved the roughneck sweet shop directions bit. “How do you think we go adventuring otherwise!?”
The fight was quick and easy. I’d expected it to be more difficult after all the build up.
Why was this just a half season?
It’s a bit annoying for a season to be over with zero progression on the main story arc. I
If Franky wasn’t such a cuck, he should totally be able to get a nice girl for himself. He doesn’t seem that bad of a guy.
What is even happening anymore!?!?
Amazing take on “Das Leben der Anderen” cementing Ostania as East Berlin.
Just look at the resemblance: https://trakt.tv/movies/the-lives-of-others-2006
That juxtaposition at the end: delightful
I was kinda going to give up on this but this episode is the payoff for the first dozen of doldrums. This is often the case for anime that it’s a very slow burn.
Lots of stuff happening, stakes are raised and the game is afoot.
あとは頼みます - I'll leave the rest to you
What a beach sequence, what a send off!
Todo is such a vibe. My himbo king.
Fucking hell. What a goddamn beautiful interlude of Nobara’s early life and what a send off. 悪くなかった for real.
This is on Netflix now and now my kids get to enjoy the same show that I did. The Dutch dub hasn’t really aged well.
Finally we get this one more or less resolved and don’t have to deal with Çelebi stalking around anymore.
Rüya and Ömer finally get married. Çelebi is thought to be dead but of course he isn’t.
Iskender can finally be happy. And Rüya and Ömer have worked through their bullshit so they can too now. Only Ozan and Cemre are in a bad situation with him getting shot.
Çelebi is checked into prison but he’s a busy bee and gets Iskender indicted for killing Kenan and Bülent.
Bülent is dead. Tomris is free. Cemre gains custody. Çelebi’s plans are thwarted and he remains in prison.
Atlas is safe. Iskender finds himself. Zeynep is really annoying. Cemre plays tricks but is caught in the act by Çelebi.
Everybody is aligning on their directions for the final run. Çiçek is free, Cemre is determined and the gang is running the game that might put Çelebi away.
More blows to everybody. Çiçek wrests herself free from Ali and Iskender asserts himself. Cemre returns to the house.
Çelebi continues to lash out to everybody but he also increasingly loses it.
A nice episode where we learn a bunch of things and this time round Ömer doesn't keep things hidden from Rüya. Iskender really goes through a rollercoaster of development, let's see if he can keep this up. Nice that Cemre finally gets the temporary custody.
The victory over Çelebi couldn’t last but in the end they manage to retrieve Güneş after all.
An amazing sequence going down memory lane with Ömer. Weird going ons with Uzun and the restaurant lady.
Finally a stiff blow at Çelebi from the gang who unearth the woman he beat up and drop that bombshell at his candidacy press conference.
A lot of progress and a lot of mistakes are made. Iskender is really turning towards the good? Much good it’ll do Kenan who ended up dead.
