I'm honestly amazed by how utterly stupid the human race can be. Who could have possibly known that a homeless pothead that bragged about hitting someone with a hatchet could turn out to be a psychopath with mental issues? Not only that, but he takes advantage of other people's kindness just because he doesn't want to settle down or get a job to buy his own shit.
Am I the only one that didn't fall for his "kind savior" act? Am I the only one that wasn't surprised that it turned out this way? Honestly, this should be a lesson about turning someone into a celebrity overnight, especially just for one good deed. Being a basic human that helps out someone in trouble shouldn't be enough to make you famous or make you a hero.
Even evil can do good sometimes.
What a beautiful movie :sob: Imagine having a ghost best friend, though, that would be so cool!
What a beautiful movie... I didn't cry, you cried!
Another great show ruined by unneeded romance :open_mouth::dash: Is it really so much to ask for a show without any romance in it? Why can't the female lead and male lead just be feckin' friends without falling in love?
I was really into this show, the story is great and the main characters are super cool but then they threw in unnecessary romance and it completely killed my buzz and sapped my desire to finish the show.
EDIT: I powered through and I'm glad I did. The story got so much better and I ended up binging the last few episodes because I needed to know what happened lol
This movie was really boring to me. I would say it couldn't keep me engaged but it never had me engaged to begin with. It was just really bland and I didn't really care about anything that happened.
Ho boy, that plot twist! I didn't see that coming at all lol
Canceled? This is why I hate watching TV shows. You get into them and then never get another season *sigh
Anyway, I really enjoyed this. I love how there are so many different languages being spoken and the characters have to try and communicate. If I'm correct, there is English, German, Chinese, French, and Spanish. With subtitles, of course.
This show is really good at leaving you confused about who the "villain" is. As soon as I would become sure of someone as the villain, something would happen to change my mind. I guess the ending of season 1 can leave everything up to your imagination...
I won't spoil, but the genre does go from a period mystery to sci-fi which really isn't my cup of tea. But I won't lie, if another season gets made ill probably watch it... or, you know, die because my curiosity needs to know the ending.
I decided to comment since it seems as though all the comments are purely negative. I wasn't sure how well this movie would do without the support of powerhouse Ryan Reynolds, but I enjoyed it. I'm quite fascinated by the lore and would love to see more movies taking place in different time periods.
People are saying to avoid this movie, but I say watch it. It was fun and humorous and I think it deserves a watch.
Very educational. I now feel ready to begin my journey as a househusband.
Bonus points because Tsuda-san is amazing and I love his voice.
Bonus bonus points because the cat is cute as feck and I laughed so hard when he broke through the shoji paper on the door he just fixed :rofl:
I'll be the first to admit that I'm dumber than Patrick Star, so I'm not sure if the clues were obvious to others, but I did NOT see that ending coming. It hit me right in the feels, damn.
This movie was amazing. I kept smiling and laughed more than a few times, plus Red is sooo adorable. Would be cool to see a series following the main two as they explore the world, learning about the beasts.
I'm giving this a 6.5 because, while I did like the show, the ending made zero sense to me and it's apparently been canceled so we won't get another season or any explanation.
This movie has the best damn soundtrack and whoever did the ending credits needs an award because that was the best damn end credits I've ever seen in my life. Not a bad movie.
I watched this because I was told it was set in the Bleach universe and I was really intrigued to see how it connected. It's a really cool anime and I hope they make another movie or turn it into a series. Plus, they added dragons! You can't go wrong with dragons.
This is easily one of my favorite shows of all time. It was both hilarious and charming <3
Stop making me cry and feel things, you jerks T_T)
This was such a fun watch. I love F&F and I love parody movies so I was excited to watch this. The jokes were so dumb that they were actually kinda funny. I'm not sure why there's so much hate for this movie, like the whole point of it is to be as stupid as possible lol I thought it was great, the cast was awesome and there were quite a few cuties, too c:
Not a bad movie, but quite confusing. I feel like it went too fast without much explanation of the world or the characters. Like, they would show us a scene with one badass character, then they join and we're immediately onto the next. I think they made a bad choice by making it a move series instead of just a series. I'm more confused than anything.
Boring and predictable. The main character in this movie is the DUMBEST woman I have seen in a long time. She just makes dumb decision after dumb decision... I'm honestly surprised she lasted so long. The only saving grace of this movie is the beautiful scenery and the amazing rainy/stormy atmosphere. If it was just that, this movie would have been so much better.
Wanted to like this movie because of the main actor, but it's just so boring.
I couldn't even finish this movie. It's disgusting, unfunny, and downright cringeworthy.
The movie itself wasn't bad but the way they ended it was just dumb. It feels like they ran out of budget and just decided to slice the ending off.
The songs are absolute fire.
Was Nancy always such a Mary Sue? I mean, I haven't read the books in ages, but damn. When she first transferred schools and she was perfect in EVERY class, it rubbed me the wrong way :/ And that kid that keeps following her around, god he's the most annoying character in existence. Which, okay, he's probably MEANT to be that way, but he makes this movie sooo much worse.
My favorite part was at the beginning when the priest is praying for Nancy and he says, "Protect her as she strives to solve mysteries that are beyond the abilities of local law enforcement agencies" while standing right next to the sheriff. The look he gave him, bro, I can't! That was the biggest laugh from me during this movie.
Beautiful list, thanks so much for putting this together! Now I can see exactly what I'm missing in the MCU c:
...TF did I just watch, bro?
Absolutely amazing  I cried more times than I'm willing to admit during this movie. May he rest in peace, in both worlds  The MCU has been getting a bit out of hand in my opinion but this brought it back down for me. I was hanging on the entire time. An easy 10.
EDIT: Also wtf is wrong with all the idiots complaining about racism in this movie?? I didn't see or hear anything wrong here. I don't get why everyone has to bring race into everything, it's stupid and pointless. If you're so bored with your life that you have to imagine problems where they don't exist, maybe consider going out and touching grass. Or find a hobby. I hear knitting is quite in this year.
I love how Americans have this special ability to take an amazing foreign movie and turn it into a trashy American movie. That's gotta be some kind of terrible superpower.
Religion: -10/10
Nic Cage: 10/10
Nic Death: 7.5/10
This movie is the perfect example as to why kids should NOT be allowed to practice religion. Personally, I think it should be banned altogether, but that's another story. At the very least, it should be illegal for kids to be religious. They are way too young to understand something that even adults can barely understand. It warps their minds, gives them a false sense of self and justice. They're taught that some magical man in the sky can solve all their problems. They're taught that if they don't live their lives according to some ancient book whose origins we can't even prove, then they will burn in hell for all of eternity.
That fucks up a kid's mind. It warps it, bending it until it can never be straight again. People have done unspeakable things in the name of religion and they get away with them because of it. If a child doesn't have the mindset that allows them to drink or drive, they shouldn't be allowed to practice religion either. This is coming from someone who was raised Christian and became a fucked up adult because of it.
Any parent that genuinely loves their kids won't do this to them. But I forget, God comes first, even over your own kids
Not a bad movie, but the parents are dumb as feck. Who in their right mind finds out that their kid murdered an animal, tries to suffocate each other to see "god" and does nothing about it? Again, if you truly love your kids, you get them help before they kill someone, not after. Idiots.
Also, the English dub is pretty terrible lol
