I don't have much to add that hasn't been added before, but I do appreciate the diversity of Hannibal, and the fact hat gay characters can be present and leading in a show, even a gay relationship, where 1) the point isn't that they're gay 2) one of them doesn't die and 3) there's no emotional gripping coming out story. It's just treated like it would had Will been a woman, which is what is most realistic anyways.
New, innovative and smart. I loved how the story progressed and how the season ended. An overall great season.
This season was... a bit boring, and less visually appealing. The Red Dragon was probably the worst villain in the show. But it was alright, and it was good enough to be worth watching!
This season has a bit more of a confusing plot / red thread, but it works out fine by the end where you'll catch up if you fall out. It is an incredibly amazing season, with a strong beginning and a strong end.
Not really horror. It is a bit overly dramatic, and has some cheap jumpscares. If you like soap operas, it's a good one. It's quite emotional. I probably would've liked it better if it didn't market itself as horror.
This season did Sam dirty.
I don't even know where to start on this movie. The cinematography, the plot, the costumes, the soundtrack and the acting are all the best I've seen in a LONG time. This is one of the greatest movies I have ever watched. I could elaborate, but it would take up all day. And as a young, gay woman, thank you for making a lesbian couple that wasn't just for the male gaze, where one didn't die off and where the story wasn't just about them coming out / discrimination. Yes to more movies of people who just happen to be gay and that's not the point of the story! Cheers!
Re-watching this show, and am reminded of how incredible and amazing the pilot was. Absolutely stunning visually, great acting, and an engaging plot like nothing else.
Gillian Anderson is the absolute best, I love that Hannibal has got his own psychiatrist
It gets... more boring. More dramatic, less horror and thriller-y. I really appreciated Bella as a character.
haven't cried this much in an episode of anything in a while, than I did when the eric thing happened. and the ending warmed my heart <3
favorite episode of the show, so far!
Joelle is a feminist icon, change my mind.
This show is just as good the second time around. Samantha crying over the monkey-tweet is one of the scenes that have sat with me the longest. It's just beautiful and thought-provoking.
(Upon re-watch) I completely forgot that Abigail knew (or had a feeling about) Hannibal being a serial killer. The ending keeps the suspense well, but sadly, this episode was a bit slower paced than the first ones. Possibly due to the lack of a new killer?
Intense. Passionate. Amazing. A masterpiece.
The shocking revelation hurts me again. Couldn't see it coming, but it's not unbelievable.
My favorite episode of the show so far. The last 10 minutes are so goddamn powerful.
Good build-up! I still think they have a pace-problem though
I have never seen more stunning visuals on television
had to rewatch this movie. it's my favorite "vegan movie" to date. very underrated within the movement!
The build up is killing me! What a plot twist.
I cried my eyes out
Troy is my least favorite character, but this episode was interesting due to the raw emotion in it. Amazing.
Lionel deserves better than Silvio.
Great episode. The visuals are just stunning.
Uh, I did not except this show to take this turn at all. Am I pleased? I mean, it's a good take, but I also love Will, so I'm not sure. Really excited to see season 2.
It's getting a bit slow-paced.
This episode is particularly gore-y, if you like that sort of thing. Very interesting premise of the murder case of the week!
Abigail helping her dad was... a shock. I loved this episode. Hannibal grooming Will by making him quiet about the murder is also amazing.
