Only in this show that you would cry over a demon doing a really nice thing.
Brb gonna find a cute guy whom I can sing "I am going to see your dick" to, laugh about it with, and make-out with him aftewards.
Ugh this episode was amazing holy fuck.
I never screamed at my laptop screen so hard over a Black Mirror episode.
God, that was just frustrating to watch.
Holy shit what a great way to open the season. This episode manages to hit my nerdy blockbuster spots so well.
It also really dissected the toxic parts of our current nerd culture climate. Also it's an episode with a good ending too! Amazingly well-done episode.
THAT OITNB/KIMMY SCHMIDT CROSSOVER. I AM SCREAMING.
What an emotionally-draining episode. Things are not looking too bright after this episode. :(
Okay, I really wanted to like this episode, mainly because Jacqueline's character development is such a feminist statement. Unfortunately, the entire subplot with Titus as a Geisha is......argh. The way they dealt with this subplot is very one-sided and unfair. This episode comes off as pandering to the anti-SJW/anti-PC crowd. They could have at least give the PC crowd a much fairer portrayal. Like pointing out more realistic reasons why they're offended by Titus' portrayal of a Geisha in the first place like how doing a yellowface can actually be harmful to the way how people perceive Asians. Not because they're offended cause they're offended, like how they were portrayed in the show. With this, it gives a much fairer discussion on the still talked about political correctness vs. comedy debate. But nope, it's very clear what kind of bias Tina Fey has in regards to this topic.
In regards to this debate. Full-on political correctness is bad. I believe jokes on very taboo subjects has to at least be clever and does not come off as making fun of the oppressed. Like in regards to making a rape joke that makes a rapist the butt of the joke rather than the rape victims. Of course, that subplot is in response to the whitewashing of Jacqueline since the actress who is playing her is white. Honestly, I am okay with Jacqueline's character being an Native American despite being played by an actress who is white because it's ironic, gives a plot twist that Jacqueline is not actually white and also delivers a sad massage about how many PoC had to make themselves white to be feel worthy. Honestly, with this kind of story, I wouldn't buy an accurate Native American actor playing Jacqueline. Let me be clear that whitewashing in general is awful. This is just an exemption because this particular part is executed well in my opinion.
Great episode but that asexual joke was really unnecessary.
I like Patty. She is a great character. But for some reason after she left, the show came back what made the first season of the show so great. Maybe they should not wasting their time writing a subplot that is totally under"I am a superhero and I cannot tell my girlfriend about it." trope.
After an entertaining yet silly first episode comes the second episode. This is classic X-Files I came to love. But of course, many of my favorite episodes has always been the MOTW episodes than the alien mytharc ones.
This is an okay return of the show that has been loved by many fans around the world. I noticed that the current alien myth-arc will definitely get political with the references to the government spying on us and shit.
I have a couple of complaints, one especially at the ending. They brought Smoking Cigarette Man back from the dead. They better have a good explanation why he is not dead anymore because I felt very insulted watching him alive again when we saw him dead, burnt alive, on-screen in the finale.
The good parts are that I am relived that this episode is already better than the awful second movie. But that isn't saying much to be honest. Also, I am glad we get to see Mulder and Scully again. They're the ones that make the show.
I am rating this a 7/10 because while it's entertaining, this episode is a bit silly and I fear the show might complicate their already hard to understand mythology. I hope the rest of the revival is better than this. We'll have to wait and see.
That is some heavy stuff at the end. I really didn't care for Phil #2 but to see him dead just when he redeemed himself is so sad. :(
I think Clara had an awesome departure from the show. Her death being a fixed point in time that can't be reversed but she can avoid her death how longer she likes by traveling with Me in her Clara Who adventures.
Things I didn't like about the season finale is the underwhelming return of Gallifrey and a lackluster conclusion on The Hybrid. I only rated this episode a 9 because this season finale got the emotional beats right.
This show is so stupid it hurts.......I LOVE IT!!!!
The flashback scene where Kermit and Miss Piggy break up feels way too real. :(
Episode III still has some flaws but this one is the best of the prequel series. Almost up to par with the original trilogy.
What the fuck did I just watch?
Not as strong as the pilot but the theme of this episode really got to me. And oh my god, what is up with that ending? O.o
8 minutes in and I stopped watching. This has the hentai harem eechi anime trope that I dislike very much. Oh well.
Holy shit. This episode ripped my heart out. :O
God, it's going to be a long wait for next week's episode.
This show used to be funny and it's also used to be one of my favorite TV shows (hence I initially rated this show a 10 on trakt). But starting from Season 7 the show has becoming redundant and it's going nowhere with its forgettable plots. This seems like the show is now more on the money rather on the quality.
I am so sad to say this but I won't continue watching this show.
I really Cristela Alonzo but this show is not that good as it was supposed to be.
Six episodes in, I can't get into this anime.
The slapstick humor seemed forced for a drama anime like this. Most of the main characters are unlikable. And this anime tried way too hard to manipulate my feelings, only to end up having me laugh like a shitty terrible person when someone cries.
The only saving grace of this anime was the musical performances. But that was it.
Yep, I am not going to continue watching this anime.
I like this show better than Scandal.
It's official. Manhattan Love Story is the first show to be cancelled this season.
The show had potential to be good but ended up being a mess. I love Analeigh Tipton but she needs a better show than this.
Not gonna miss this show at all. Sorry not sorry.
This movie still scared the shit out of me.
