I guess it wouldn't be a snyder film if there wasn't an unnecessary slow mo montage every 10-15 minutes.
So much of the plot stems from you having to care about his dead wife & kid that was only in the film for ~15 minutes. And not realizing he recovered from two gunshot wounds, went thru physical therapy and ended up in prison in 6 months.
