Is it Tim-Burton-television version of Harry Potter?
I don’t think violence is necessary in this episode, I hope the next episode would explain…
episode 1: I was so confused how the drama was different from the original book.
episode 2: Louis and Lestat are so in love they are sooooo cute!
It's a rather mediocre contemporary adaptation of IWTV. The changes to the characters are good, with Lester becoming a playboy who travels from France to New Orleans looking for fun, and Louie is a black pimp who carries the secret that he is gay in the white world. The story is more popularized and explicit, Lestat lures Louis into becoming a vampire because he sees how special Louis is and how Louis has to waste his life in the mundane world because of his skin color and sexual orientation and wants to take Louis away from it. Louis has too much burden and secrets on his shoulders, so he also wants to escape and he chooses Lestat.
But the director fails to portray Louis' suffering and inner struggle that it seems a bit abrupt for Louis to succumb to Lestat's temptation. The thunder and lightning sound effects and bloody killings at this point in the plot's climax seems too cheesy because of the lack of powerful emotion.
WTF? I wish Dexter had killed the writers of this episode.
God bless those hopeless romantics!
At first I thought this story is kinda boring, just a weird woman obsessed with her old sports car, but as the story went on and I figured why and all I can do is crying with a broken heart...
This season of The Crown is a pure women's play, and makes everyone profoundly hate Prince Charles.
Twist after twist after twist and it's finally ended! Phew!
So far Mallory is the biggest bitch in this show, I wonder what's her deal.
Fran Lebowitz's witty words and Martin Scorsese's girly giggles are priceless.
yaaaay...everyone is kissing everyone, I guess that's good?
idk what's the point of this teen orgy episode?
Lots of Generation Kill deja vu here!
An obvious substitute for HBO's Western World : the first and second episodes were directed by big-name directors, and the directors' characteristic style was applied throughout the season. All the cliffhanger are simply the baits to the audience, which will not be solved in the future episodes for sure). Comparatively speaking, the first season of Western World is still very well completed, while the plot of Raised by Wolves has collapsed since Episode Six. Also pretty sure Amanda Collin will get an Emmy award for her incredible acting.
WTF WTF WTF???? Why humans are so cruel and stupid and ungrateful???
Wow, so many things happened in this episode! Like it's a turning point of the entire season!
This episode is way, way too genius, like, Community kind of genius.
I got this! Christine is Theresa May plus Angela Merkel! LOL
Everyone should watch this episode to see how rape happens irl.
The first eight episodes slowly paved the way for the ninth episode, which begins to build a tense of office politics, and the last episode brings a all-drama explosion, it feels so good, I say.
Totally my guilty pleasure! The last episode even made me cry a little bit...
Your mum is bad and your dad is worse...
Lost and found, bitter sweet, best episode so far.
It feels like I am watching Mindhunter...Honestly, my hands sweat a lot...
Sooo hilarious! My God, the PingPong scene (reminds me of テニスの王子様) is wayyyyy too ingenious!
OK the only good thing lasted in the fifth season is Dominic West's performances...
Man vs. Wild the affair edition
Why Whitney turned to be such a bi*ch out of blue?
Even better than the last season, each character developed so well! After so much torment, the old king finally make the new king, a killer. Looking forward to the next season!
