Season 2 is a complete garbage
Oh God. I cried my eyes out. Such a great show but oh so sad. The actors were superb. Haven't seen a show this heart tearing for a while.
A must see. Old scool story telling, with great actors, excellent outdoor scenes, tragic characters and perfectly fitting music.
Most defintelly in my hall of fame.
A more realistic approach to the pioneers and westerns. Don't know how accurate it is, but seems much more accurate than those typical saloon gunslinger productions.
There is no right choice. There is only luck.
Some people should remember this, I have to say.
This show was amazing, and this is coming from someone who doesn’t watch westerns. I think just about everyone would enjoy this show as long as they are willing to give it a chance. I’ve seen some reviews of people saying this show was woke. Well I have wokeness myself, but I definitely wouldn’t consider this a woke show.
Billy Bob Thornton was mentioned ad a cast member I was hoping he'd have a bigger part than just a cameo role. He seemed like hed fit in right in this series.
Well I can say this is the top one of 2022 great acting and story
This is quickly turning into my favorite show. I find it to be a blend of Lonesome Dove and the TV Series from the mid-70s “How The West Was Won” with a little of the classic western Red River tossed in. Absolutely, love the Isabel May character Elsa Dutton. Really hoping they don't kill her off. Doesn't look good from the opening sequence of the series.
5 Episodes in and it's pretty good so far.. looking forward to this series lasting quite a few seasons. Hope the quality of writing keeps up.
9/10
i guess this is more stuff for USA persons, since its over there in western. for me, living in Portugal, i have zero idea
I must say that only one episode is left, but i give a 9 no this show
all the actors for me have done a great but great show
and the surrounds really make me feel that this really happened, and probably part of it happened for real
cant wait for the last one but sad if they dont make a season 2
what a dramatic show and im not even the type of person that enjoy drama that much
Too sad.
But I enjoyed it.
Finally a good tv show. Must watch
First good serie of 2022 love it
Be warned... this will break your heart. But it's worth it.
Wow!... Not really into westerns per-say, however, this show is Amazing and will bring Sorrow & Joy to your heart & Eyes.
I can't ait for season two,... Paramount+ confirmed on February 15 that more episodes are indeed on the way. It's unclear how many new episodes will be shot and if they will consider it a full season, but rest assured that the story isn't ending yet.
You don't have to like western movies/series to fall in love with this masterpiece Also, just knowing that Taylor Sheridan wrote this is enough reason for you to watch it.
Watched first 2 episodes - very good!! Better than Yellowstone - which has turned into a sort of soap opera.
So far 10/10
Best show I have seen for a very long time 10/10
Although the female point of view is corny and puerile in the voice-over texts, Sheridan manages to create a melancholic, sad and violent western with characters doomed to despair. And that reconstruction of a disillusioned colonialism provides characters as complex as Shea (Sam Elliott), who represents the beginning of the disappearance of a way of life and an era, for better and for worse, which is what masterfully connects the spirit of this prequel with "Yellowstone".
Amazing cast, top lead. Pioneering had a grim outlook, it is well portrait in this TV show... AND!!! Can we have a spin-off with Billy Bob Thornton playing ALL the parts?
I love this show. How can you not love Sam Elliot in absolutely anything he does? With the exception of some really bizarre accents, this is a superbly done western. I didn't even care that it's a prequel to Yellowstone, this show stands on its own without any tie in to other shows.
If you like Lonesome Dove then this will become your new favorite. I still love Lonesome Dove, but this tops it. Aside from Band of Brothers I'm not sure there's a better mini-series out there.
Excellent story and very authentic. 10/10
Make sure you watch the Special episode for a look at the way it's made and written.
I'm really enjoying this show! Good actors, great scenery and solid story. So far, every episode was better. Nice job.
Looking forward to this, especially as Sam Elliott is in it. Owner of the best western moustache ever! He brings a great presence to anything he's in. Isabel May, excellent as narrator, looks remarkably like a cross between Jenifer Lawrence and Natalie Portman! A future star in the making.
The best series I have seen in a long time.
After watching the regular series I highly recommend watching the behind the scenes special 1883: The Road West.
I'm a sucker for a good Western but mannnn who knew Tim McGraw could act
